Gaming moment that pissed you off

The first time I went through Lunar: Eternal Blue, I did so with an emulator that couldn't swap discs on-the-fly, meaning that I couldn't continue on after spending HOURS clearing the first half of the game. That sure pissed me off.

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. Snorlax kept kicking my ass for hours and I finally snapped and called him a (explicit) cheater. ...I know CPUs don't REALLY cheat because they're programmed that way... right?

Anytime Batman: Arkham Knight forced you into a Batmobile """"boss battle"""". I'm already not a fan of the game but that Cloudburst Tank shit was so bad it p much put me off finishing the game forever

not exactly game-specific related but when I was a kid I was obsessed with ape escape for ps1, and one day I was looking to download gta 1 also for ps1, and downloaded a pal copy. In Argentina we use ntsc, not pal, but I was trying to find if even exists an spanish version so I could understand the dialogues and all of that. well, the game doesn't have the name of the language, only the flags, and I saw them on black and white (didn't knew them very well neither, I was like 11, don't judge me). I selected one, and was trying to go to config or smth, and gta 1 was one of those games that let you erase save files within the game itself, and by accident I deleted my ape escape file, near the end of the game. I was SO PISSED OFF that I grabbed a hammer and destroyed the cd lmaooooo (pirate copy, don't worry). It wasn't until 3 years ago aprox. that I started again ape escape and finally finished it. Awesome game btw.

I was playing Fantastic Dizzy on Genesis and got to the end with 1 missing star and zero idea where it was, and as I backtracked, I died and got a game over. This was YESTERDAY and I'm still irritated

BISON WAS SOO HARD FOR ME!!!! - PS1 fighting game. Good luck with that anyone.
My Xbox 360 got corrupted due to exposed to what I believe "concrete dust". Had to replace it later in life.

Anytime Batman: Arkham Knight forced me to engage with the Batmobile in any way shape or form.

Also, the 5 billion pointless DLC additions Arkham Knight had

That damn speeder bike section from "Battletoads." It's a MASSIVE difficulty spike as everything before that section is pretty easy.

Pretty much any time I've done something monumental only for the game to crash and erase my progress. Bonus points if my savefile got corrupted and I had to restart the entire game.

i haven't heard anything about the ai in the gamecube games, but in the main handheld games, the ai is pretty much completely random; with only a line of code being added in depending on whether it is a wild pkmn, a trainer or gym leader/elite four member. and there are some restrictions on those AIs as well.
some games do let the computer cheat like in yugioh forbidden memories. you get 5 cards, the ai gets 20, it can search for any card to defeat your strongest monster, and it can have 3 of any card, regardless of whatever it is. not very fun to fight kaiba who has 3 blue eyes ultimate dragons.

You don't wanna see me loosing in Tekken ranked.

I recently played the PS4 Sakura Wars. I was enjoying the game for the most part, but the entire last act is a cocaine fueled anime trope blender, and the game is so determined to waste your time with insanely dumb exposition that it starts making jokes about how it's doing it. If I was reviewing it I would have to take it from a solid 7 to a 5 solely because I hated the last act so much. I was raging for two days.

This happened to me with Panzer Dragoon Saga. First disc is only like 5ish hours long but still pissed me off

Playing Dark Souls 2 way too young to appreciate led to a broken controller and a lot of new chores for me from my parents. That and every God Of War platforming while being shot by stunlocking bullshit segment. I don't know how i beat the GoW's without snapping my PS2 over my knee.

Were you able to do something about it? Eternal Blue "transforms" your save after getting to the disc-swapping bit, so I effectively screwed myself.

Literally the more I played Tournabout Big Top the more it felt like a battle, it was legit infuriatingly bad and not ONLY for the reason everybody is (rightfully) thinking about. Characters are insufferable, the plot gets resolved in a very stupid way, I don't want to get into details because I wont stop and I don't want to spoil the game

I recently found out about the newest version of BadUpdate with far faster exploit times and a higher success rate. So I used BadBuilder to set up a 256GB USB drive, spent awhile converting ISOS to GOD format to load on the console....aaaaaannnnd the fucking USB drive died and set to read only mode. So I tried a USB to SATA adapter and an old laptop drive that was in decent shape, but BadBuilder can't format those. So I had to format that hard drive on the Xbox 360 as a system drive, then remove the system partition, then move everything from the USB flash drive to the hard drive while said flash drive kept crapping out. When I FINALLY got everything moved over to the hard drive and ran the exploit, Aurora wouldn't download the fucking cover art.

"Pissed off" is a bit extreme. I can't remember being frustrated or angry to THAT level about something in games.

The most recent time I got annoyed was dealing with Nintendo's new way of doing digital games on Switch. Used to be you just downloaded the game from the eShop. Now you have to download it, make it a "virtual card" and then pretend to load it into your Switch as if it were a physical game. What took 1 step, now takes 3. Sometimes four if you want to play the game on your non-primary Switch

In general, Otacon from MGS annoys me

Not in XD, but Pokemon Colosseum: I caught the shadow Tyranitar and spent several hours grinding to purify it. My cat at the time then climbed on top of my GameCube and pressed the power button! The last save I had made was just before catching the Tyranitar in the first place... ::sailor-embarrassed

Rivera the promised land on psp because of action of points I didn't get any weapon and almost out of items and weapon this why I quit.
