i like this because its pretty realistic. truthfully in the end most people do chase after their crushes instead of just settling with the person whos already into them. the feeling probably stems from the allure of the unattainable. going after someone out of reach feels like striving for a challenge that validates the worth of the relationship. whats easily attainable can lose its shine in comparison. with rezero this aspect is emphasized in the writing as one of the big plot points was how much subaru idealizes emilia to a large degree

Well it´s often not realistic. Like Emeilia is not something I would call a crush it´s like the first girl he see after waking up and she´s like an annoying B that ignors him most of the time. Chasing after a girl or boy that´s not interested is waste of time and total waste emotions. I should now I chased girls that never ever been interested in me and would never be interested in me even if I was the last man on earth.

Subaru is like most Men pure bloody idiot that is blinded by fake love. But the most unrealistic part is that some how the girl that never been interested in them suddenly change their mind. That´s so unrealistic im 1000% sure who ever write that slop had never seen a girl ever.
