Another 2-combo of games done.

Yep, that's THAT fighting game that ripped-off so much and shamelessly SF2 that Capcom itself decided to sue Data East for it...and lost.
You know what? The game is not half bad at all! I actually had more fun with it than others (hot take: it's still a better game than Fatal Fury 2 imo).
I played the main arcade mode twice, both with Ray: on easiest to just "taste" the game (and get a little disappointed that the game tells "To Play again in harder difficulty". Wow, not even the character ending? Ok, game...), and hardest. Holy shit, the hardest difficulty.
You punch your opponent? His health lowers a little. The opponent punches you? 2 more and you're done. Which will happens very, very often since they can easily do a move and then grab you right away (Marstorius, rot in hell). Get used to do plenty of continues and retry.
I feel it's still a competent fighting game, especially for the times. But having to commit so much for credits and characters ending? Hell no. I already saw every character ending on YouTube and happy for that.

(I guess "hardest" is just for credits, does anyone knows if "hard" is for character endings)?
7/10

This is half a management game and then a skill/lucky road rally one.
I felt very harsh because I perceived it as a OutRun wannabe. Felt initially that the framerate was very choppy, and not enjoyable in a StarFox/Stunt Race FX way.
But it has its own identity and you will feel rewarded by the end of the whole trip. Especially when you basically invest all money on the right part, feeling to have messed up previously but sitll manage to made it through.
While it can be fun it's very punishing for obstables and cars. Like, stupidly unavoidable at moments. And the jumps that inevitably ruin engines, tires and whatever, even if you slow down and return gradually on speed.
Btw was this also one of the Super Famicom launch titles?
