Surprise, surprise, another one done as #83:
I beat the arcade version before (on that horrible collection that is "Double Dragon Trilogy") and I do confirm they're both different games, especially on levels.
Oh boy. How much popular is here the respect to this franchise? On the other I have it, it is after all one of the most influntial beat'em ups of all times. But the early games aged so poorly (the arcade of the second one I legit ragequitted for that final stage).
But for the moment we talk about the NES version. If you ask me what I think I'll plainly reply: it's a bad game that aged like milk. Lack of co-op is ridiculous, weird collision, ridiculously punishing.
The fact that the only mode you can do with another friend is "Mode B" is the funniest part: it's not the "Game B" like the early NES games, oh no no lol: it's the fighting 1v1 one. 1 only stage, bad camera screening when characters move far away...
Nudges are pretty strong just like in the original, if you can manage to keep landing them.
