I've played a lot of games this year; but finishing them??

Give me a few weeks to a couple months and I may have Disco Elysium, Baldurs Gate 3 & Baroque to add to this list..if you give me the rest of the year I'll probably have Horizon Zero Dawn & Anode Heart to add to the list atleast as well ^^; but tbh I get so distracted by making my own stuff that I have a hard time seeing a lot of games through to completion lately.

They're basically multiplayer focused spin-offs that can be played in solo (for a lesser experience).

Even if they're somehow canon to the timeline (why?) they still count.

Personally, I think Zelda is better/more interesting when there isn't a timeline.
And yeah, fair enough. If I were playing through all the Zeldas, I'd count them too!

There are games that are clearly direct sequels (like Zelda II happening after TLOZ, Link's Awakening referencing ALTTP's events in the manual I think and Majora's Mask basically showing young Link from OoT after he went back to the past as well as Phantom Hourglass retelling Wind Waker's story).

All went well with Wind Waker telling about the Hero of Time saving the day but ala, didn't return to save it again when Ganon rose back again until Twilight Princess basically scrambled the continuity with the Adult/Child Timeline thing...

I just simply hardly believe that Fourswords Adventure happens centuries after Twilight Princess' end.

And the "Downfall" Timeline was just "stuff we didn't know where to put"...

I don't wanna derail the topic but I'll just say that the Fourswords game (Minish Cap included) could've been an entirely separate continuity and it would've been entirely fine for the series.
