Games You Finished in 2025

I'm sorry to say, but my list of unfinished games just gets longer and longer.
You and me both man. I’m starting to feel either my tastes are narrower than I give them credit for or I’m harder to impress now compared to before.

Suikoden 1 & 2 - Vampire Survivor- Eldin Ring - kartia world of fate - tactics ogre - Romancing Saga 2 remake - Gundam Breaker 4 - Armored Core 6 - Persona 1 - MH Wilds - Ogre Battle MBQ - Star Ocean 2 Remaster. Oh and MGS Peace Walker.

And I've finished Pilotwings SNES then 64.

I've also done NES TMNT, Battletoads and Battlemaniacs (hard games but still fun).

Kero Blaster on the Switch (really nice run 'n gun by the same guy behind Cave Story) and Klonoa's Wii Remake.
I've also done the Battletoads of the GB and I've started Battletoads in Ragnarok Land as well as the 2020 game yet I've gotten a bit bored so I took a pause with the franchise as the first is just the NES game but on the GB and the other while being nice is a bit of a repetitive beat'em up (shame since it was a long awaited return for the franchise).

So I ended up doing Wonderboy the Dragon's Trap, Wonderboy in Monster Land and Wonderboy 1 on the SMS (I would probably do Monster World IV so I would basically have done every games in the main franchise, ignoring the reskins and Adventure Island games).

PS: Oh and I'm playing in every levels with every characters in Smash 4 Wii U so I would experience every differences with Smash Ultimate.

Finished Deltarune chapter 2, Snowgrave route this time. Haven't played the game since Toby released the chapter a while back, and it was fun getting into it again. Jevil was a lot of fun, and so was Spamton Neo. Until I learned you have act commands to use TP on. At which point I just threw him to the mat like he's a jobber. Also, chapter 1's violence ending (where Susie deals with King instead of the subjects overthrowing him) is a lot better than the nonviolent ending, since it completes Susie's arc for the chapter.

For my thoughts on Snowgrave specifically...the ~*trauma*~ of the route wasn't as good as I'd like (I feel I could write better), but that's fine. It's enough to get ideas cooking, and the abuse Kris puts Noelle through is great for my soul. I'm rather curious how Toby is going to handle the next chapter, and any possible route divergence. Will be exciting, depending on how much changes between normal and Snowgrave.

Probably gonna play more Birth by Sleep while I wait for the next two chapters. Just beat Braig as Terra.

Update:

1. Mad Max (PS4)
2. RetroRealms Halloween/Ash Vs Evil Dead (Switch)
3. Akimbot (PC)
4. The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge (PS2)
5. DOOM (2016) (PC)
6. DOOM Eternal (PC)
7. DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods (PC)
8. Shantae: Risky Revolution (GBA)
9. DOOM: The Dark Ages (PC)

I should try finally finishing Battletoads 2020 but I fear I'll get bored of the series...

Maybe I'll wait a bit before doing MW IV. I don't like doing more than three games in a row in the same franchise or else I'd saturate.

I'm done with that. I only have 8-Players Smash mode left. I'd probably do 3DS for Smash Run.

I have finished Doom 2016 on the Switch yesterday, it ran decently for the hardware. I'll finally tackle Eternal really soon as my PC is powerful enough. Somehow I'm not that interested in The Dark Ages and I'll wait for DLCs or for a big sale for now.

Finished Dragon's Dogma II this weekend. Really good game but nothing compared with the first one, still one of my favorite games ever.

Now I want to do the platinum trophy, there's like 3-4 very annoying trophies but let's goo

Kid Icarus Uprising would have been an all-timer were it not for the controls (they don't ruin the game but they're far less than ideal); as it stands it's just pretty good...perhaps too ambitious for its hardware. I liked that there were Smash-esque trophies that used a system not far removed from Melee (using coins - in this case eggs - to increase the percentage chance of getting a new trophy). The plot was surprisingly good but the dialog was too quippy and self-referential for my tastes. I would abso.utely love a remaster or, better yet, sequel. Solid B
