Games You Finished in 2025

So far (as end of September) in 2025 I finished:

1. Pikmin 3 Deluxe (Switch) - 8,5/10
2. Mappy-Land (NES emulator on Nintendo Switch) - 6/10
3. Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu (Switch) - 7,5/10
4. The Thaumaturge (PC) - 8,5/10
5. Doom (2016) (PC) - 6/10
6. Peter Jackson's King Kong (PS2 emulator) - 8/10
7. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (PC) - 10/10
8. Horizon: Forbidden West - Complete Edition (PC) - 8,5/10
9. LEGO Horizon Adventures (Switch) - 7/10
10. Mario Kart World (Switch 2) - 8,5/10
11. The Expanse: A Telltale Series (PC) - 6/10
12. Wolfenstein: Youngblood (PC) - 4,5/10
13. Spider-man: Miles Morales (PC) - 7,5/10
14. Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017) (PC) - Single Player campaign only - 6,5/10
15. John Wick Hex (Switch) - 2,5/10
16. Fire Emblem Engage (Switch) - 8/10
17. Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Switch) - 9,5/10 (After 3 years of playing ::homerscream)
18. F1 Manager 24 (PC) - 7/10 (If this game can be finished. In any case, I won the constructors and drivers championships in one season. 3 times in the row)
19. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean (Wii emulator) - 7/10

Oh boy, this is gonna be quite the list (gonna steal a little bit the idea of rating them as well, thank you very much marky and forgive me ahah):

  • WarioWare: Move It!: 6.5/10. I wish I could have appreciated better, it's WarioWare alright. But the joy-con camera thingy almost ruined my experience. It felt like the Wii classic but with worse controls, to me at least. Whoever managed to have a better experience good for them, I can imagine that in proper good conditions it's a fun game, especially with friends.
  • Mighty No. 9: 6/10. GOD, THIS GAME. But I gotta say: it's not as...horrible as everyone makes it think? It's fine, but the expectations were much higher considering all the controversy. But I liked it, even if with its issues (and frustrations).
  • Jak & Daxter Trilogy: 8/10 for the first one, 6/10 for the second one (sorry, it was mostly frustration) and 7/10 for the third one. The first one starts like good ol' Banjo & Kazooie/Spyro days, and then becomes what we know for better or worse. Jak 3's plot is garbage, still.
  • Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest: 6.5/10. I'm so happy I finally played and beat this game. On a real SNES and official cartridge on top of it. The sad thing is that this was the first FF that we got in Europe. Yeah. Not that bad, but some dungeon design was meh.
  • Star Ocean The Second Story R: 8/10. As much as I hated how dirty they did a certain character, I got hooked with this game and loved it! It's a much better sequel than the original (which I've played on PSP).
  • Devil May Cry 2 (Lucia): 5/10. First of: this is not one of the worst games ever. Still a bad low budget one? Yes. But I got some fun while playing (and frustration with that fish piece of sh*t boss fight).
  • DmC Devil May Cry: 8/10. Banger gameplay with a choppy edgy story. Done both Dante and the Vergil DLC.
  • Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward: 8.5/10. Much better pacing and plot from ARR. This is definitely where the game starts to get good.
  • Mega Man Battle Network 1: 7/10. It has issues (especially the web exploration and the random encounters. I swear, the isometric view doesn't make any sense) and hasn't aged greatly, but it's still the first game I've properly played and beaten. Very charming, I would have loved it back in early 2000s. For the originality, still having the new APRG gameplay never seen in the Mega Man franchise I would still give it a much higher score, but in reality it's more close to a 5/10. It was a frustrating but very satisfying experience.
  • Fatal Fury 2: 6/10. Played it on NSO and done with Terry Bogard. It's ok. If it is better than the arcade I have no idea since I really hated FF2 Special.
  • Rival Turf!: 5/10. Mediocre and tedious beat'em up.
  • Joe & Mac Trilogy: 6/10 for the first one, 7/10 for the second one, Congo's Caper definitely 7.5/10.
  • Magical Drop II: 8/10 really great puzzle game
  • Spanky's Quest: 6.5/10. It's fine and kinda fun but the framerate is dreadful.
  • Xevious: 6/10. Idk how much it counts, but finally played what the game has to offer. I'll respect it as a classic.
  • Star Soldier: 6.5/10. Fun but on the bs side of difficulty, also without much variety.
  • TwinBee: 6.5/10. Yep, a better shmup than Xevious but it doesn't mean much. The SNES sequel was much funnier, obviously more charming on visuals and crazier.
  • Mega Man Battle Network 2: 7.5/10 a better sequel for sure. It doesn't fix every main issue with the first game, but it's better in every way from the first game.
  • Shadow of the Ninja: 8/10 played on NSO. A really cool overlooked action game and one of the best NES games avaiable.
  • Antonball Deluxe: 7.5/10. A blast indeed. This is a GBA game (to be specific: a tribute to the GBA Wario games and Mario Bros. you see in every goddamn Super Mario Advance) with more spicy. The classic main mode was very funny, the other was a little more frustrating ngl.
  • Antonblast: 8.5/10. Crash Bandicoot x Wario Land 4. Some bosses made me rage, but the final one was PERFECT.
  • Donkey Kong '94: 9/10. (Finally) beaten on NSO. I'm hopeful we'll get another proper Mario vs DK that isn't a Minimario gimmick slop.
  • Gradius: The Interstellar Assault: 7.5/10. Finished on NSO, first Gradius game ever done and on Game Boy it's actually really neat. I feel I like it better than the NES game from the little I've played.
  • Pizza Tower: 7/10. Eh, I didn't liked it as much as I hoped. It was more on the difficult side, especially the boss fights. But it's still full of hilarious personality.
  • The Last Blade: 8/10. Classic SNK fighting game with the charming Neo Geo graphics you would expect.
  • Streets of Rage 1: 8/10 played it with a friend with RetroArch. Much better than Final Fight ngl.
  • Altered Beast: 6/10. Yep, that same Megadrive classic. For the time it was definitely a huge game. But personally I got more frustration than anything else.
  • Thunder Force II: 7/10 Pretty cool gameplay, but last level sucked so horribly.
  • S.C.A.T. - Special Cybvernetic Attack Team: 8/10. Yes, haha, funny name. A great Natsume classic.
  • Mario Kart World: 7.5/10. Game is fine. Open World could have been managed much better, the CPU is brutal and unlocking NPCs with a RNJ item is absolutely stupid. But it's still a fun MK.
  • Donkey Kong Bananza: 9/10. The only Nintendo game of this year 100% worth it.
  • Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones: 8/10. It's not Three Houses, THANK GOD, it was a fresh breath of air. Really cool strategic game, but I would never do the trick to unlock every support dialogue (otherwise IS wants you to replay this game every time since you can do maximum 5 support dialoge PER PLAYTHROUGH. Are you insane??)
  • Klonoa: Empire of Dreams: 7/10. Cute puzzle platform with charming graphics
  • Mr. Driller 2: 7.5/10 Best version of any game I've played from this puzzle series. Which is still a fine fun puzzle arcadey game that reminds me of Powerpuff Girls and late 90s cartoons like Dexter's lab.
  • Densetsu no Starfy 2 and 3: 7.5/10 for the first, 8/10 on the second one. Starfy 2 drags A LOT, Starfy 3 was nice. And it has Wario.
  • Ninja Gaiden Ragebound: 9/10. The final boss fight was a little underwhelming, everything else for me was perfect. Loved every second of it.
  • Wonder Boy (Arcade): 6.5/10. I wanted to give this a 8 or 9/10 because it was my childhood arcade game that I went crazy over it. And it is for half of the game. Then the other half is just a mess of pure bs. Apparently (it has to do with new scores glitches?) if you Game Over in the last two Areas...yeah, that's it. Do everything all over again, stupid. F*ck you, developers. I'm glad I save stated this. Also boss fights are always from the same guy, but with different projectiles.
  • Zelda Majora's Mask (N64): 10/10. Ok, to be specific: it's the first time I have fully played it legit, not on emulator, no cheats (and last time I did I skipped entirely the Stone Tower just to fight Majora). And done it 100%. So I feel it counts. And yeah...this game is a piece of art.
  • Capcom Beat'em Up Bundle: 7/10. OK HOLD ON, I'm not gonna list everything because I'm sure you are tired already of my endless list, so I'm just gonna say: Final Fight is a full respected classic indeed, Battle Circuit is very fun and original, Armored Warriors was a great surprise, Captain Commando was fine, but Knights of the Round, Warriors of Fate and King of Dragons were boring.
Jesus, more than 50 games beaten. But as you can see most are arcades and games that takes barely a evening. Next one I'll finish is definitely gonna be the Trials of Mana remake.

(I swear, I have a life. It just happens that after I'm done working I would just alternate gym and nerding lmao. You can say it's all my bigger motivations)

Gonna also add these considering how important this franchise is to me:
  • Final Fantasy XVI: 7/10. Great story, but very weak RPGs elements. I mean, there are barely any. I was very disappointed that Clive (and sometimes Joshua??) is the only one you play.
  • Theatrhythm Final Bar Line: 8/10 a very cute rhythmical game. I played the 3DS games but not went as much as with this. Seeing the credits after experienced this franchise since I was 10 was absolutely magical.
