Absolum, it's a game that came out just this month and it's a beat em' up roguelike with a nice story and the artwork is gorgeous. Everything is hand drawn and animates expertly. I also really like the music.

I really wanted to restart and play this on Steam, but I hate how they wanted to get rid of Sora so badly while PlayStation had it (on codes and whatever). Apparently even mods can't add that on the PC version. ::omgdoom
I know it's just a fanservice mirage/attack and nothing else, but it was very disappointing to know about it.

Shadow Hearts
i really like it so far, its kind of a dark, brutal version of FFX with a more enjoyable battle system
and then there are two more games after this one!

BallisticNG. Already addicted, though the harder turning breaks versus the original Wipeout games might take a bit of getting used to

I played Loadout from 2014. It's not accessible anymore and normally you can't go past the title screen, but I have my ways.

Kind of reminds me of Monday Night Combat, which I loved it is an honest to god shame that both it and it's sequel, Super Monday Night Combat aren't around anymore

I remember that game too, it was a good game to be honest! Didn't it use to give an item in TF2 for playing it too? Shame it was shut down.

The two games are indeed similar, with the difference that Loadout allowed weapon crafting, no classes, and gore at every corner. I used to play it so much back in the day until they gave up on it and shut down the servers. The good ones always go first I guess. ::sadkirby

It's weird that in these days the only game I'm playing is only Pokémon Legends Z-A (I'm a slow player and I'm currently only at level 40 and rank E) while before I insanely go from one game to another like it was nothing.

Playing Infra at the moment, really cool puzzle exploration game. Had to redo an area today as I accidentally found my way into a side path the circumvents the objective of the area, it's cool you can do it, but also a little annoying at times. Mostly this time because I saved climbing down a pipe I totally thought I could jump out of. Thankfully, it was pretty quick to redo everything.

Shadow Hearts is my favorite game from Japan, and I have no idea what you're talking about with the FF10 comparison. Please explain.

well its also a turn based JRPG on the PS2 with a similar structure as games like FFX which was released less than a month later and clearly overshadowed Shadow Hearts so thats why i used it as a comparison but i see your point, it has a completely different atmosphere, a better story, better characters and it expands on the boring old turn based combat by adding timing/reflex mechanics to every command
kinda like Tidus's overdrive mechanic on FFX ;->

Slowly chewing my way through Digimon World 1. I always played it as a kid but was never able to finish it. I just liked looking at Agumon, I guess. But now with the power of The Internet I'm making incredible progress. I really love how this is probably the most unique game I've ever played, but I do wish it wasn't so unforgiving while also being so cryptic. I'm really excited to play World 2 after this.

That's basically what Legend of Dragoon did it before.
Btw the "old turn based combat boring" part is very subjective. Glad stuff like Dragon Quest, Breath of Fire, Final Fantasy from I to IX, Xenogears, Earthbound/Mother etc. are and will always be cherished.
