I'm playing Pokemon Blaze Black 1 on my DSi XL.

Pokemon Black has aged extremely well. It almost feels like the perfect Pokemon game. Unfortunately the mons in gen V are not the best, so I figured I'd play a rom hack that adjusts the available mons and difficulty.

So far, it's actually quite tough for me, mainly because I never really learned type match ups as a kid so I'm kinda winging it. The modified enemy teams actually require thinking from me, which is really refreshing. The fact that trainers tend to have 4+ mons is great.

As for the core Black experience, the story is really thought provoking now that I'm a little smarter and can read more than two words. The two best friends to your stump of an MC are opposites, one completely sure of himself and what he wants, and the other shaky and hoping to find out, and while you all want to catch pokemon and experience the world, the villain team wants to liberate them. Who is right?

Really crazy thematic story telling for a Pokemon game, and I am here for it. A shame they murdered their scenario writer or something and went with some other schmuck for subsequent entries...

The music is GOATED btw :)

BlazBlue Calamity Trigger - 🇺🇸
I've already managed to finish a few character endings in arcade mode: Ragna, Jin, Noel and Taokaka
And also Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles - 🇪🇺
I've already gone through a few phases and unlocked Maria.

This evening I started this one: I'm a bit sleepy so I've just played before the first quest, but I hope I'll enjoy it (I think I will, it's not the first Neptune title I play).

A few missions in, the dialogues are just as funny and silly as the other games.
Of course, the dungeons are always the same, but who cares: this one was in my backlog since my Vita wasn't even modded yet, never been able to get it physical way then.

I'm doing my daily ritual of beating Wonderboy in Monsterland on my SMS

So you are telling me that I do NOT have to play every release on the Repo as soon as it is out!!

OOOOHHH MAAAANN!!!

Personally I’ve been really digging piles of rom hacks and fan made games. Currently digging through Super Metroid Cryogenesis, Twisted Metal 5, Dungeons of Infinity, Mortal Kombat II Remix, and other stuff I can’t remember 🤣

I've been slowly digging out stuff from my backlog but currently I'm playing Thunder Force V! (the Saturn version)

I kinda like it a bit more than the 4th game in some aspects

Does Skyrim counts as a retro game?
No? Then I'm playing Menzoberranzan and Ravenloft : Stone Prophet. Both dnd dungeon crawlers from DreamForge. I love those Strategic Simulation Inc games. Eye of the Beholder 2 is the next.

I've been playing the newest Pokémon games: Z-A and Violet, for a few weeks now.

But besides that, I've also tried beating Megaman ZX. I've actually played that one sparsely for a few years now, but I'm 100% beating it for real this year!

I'm playing SMT IV Apocalypse now that I've finished IV. I gotta say the vibes are way off. I enjoy playing from the human POV but everyone feels like a shonen character and the attempts at comic relief are irritating and often kill the tone. Huge step down in that regard. I do, however, like the gameplay tweaks. I didn't mind IV being broken because I think it's fun to work yourself up (beyond just grinding) until you bulldoze everything in your path. But it's nice actually having to rethink my teams whenever I'm at a boss fight. Though part of that is probably because I'm playing on War (hard) mode

La Pucelle: Ragnarok on my vita

I am blown away by it, it predates disgaea but tells me the writers an Nippon Ichi can do serious with the silly and do it well, shame they only really did it here, on the disgaea series if we count rhapsody onwards since its form the same team. It's all dsigagea related it seems but disgeae did really well so we kept gettuing those.

Anyway, I went out of my way to get the good ending on chapter 1 and I really enjoyed the extra story and world building provided.

I've reached the true ending, very nice game and it didn't let me down. It's not the first Neptunia game I play, and in this one too the dialogues are sometimes funny and silly. I liked the new (?) cast, I say new for me because I haven't seen the Sega girls anywhere else, I liked the story. Only dislike, you can't complete more missions in once (ex. gather a material and kill monsters), but one by one.

I recently did 2 cyberpsychosis in Cyberpunk 2077, 150 hours each game. Now im 20 somethiung hours in Final Fantasy 7 Remake and its incredible.

The name is quite... interesting.
""Pucelle" is an Old and Middle French word meaning "maiden" or "virgin". It is most famously used as the nickname La Pucelle d'Orléans for the French national heroine, Joan of Arc.

The Ragnarok is just a definitive or complete edition style moniker.

Many things in it are names for french terms or items of clothing and such.

Very quirky game, but I would suggest turning battle animations off as it took a fire emblem stance on a separate screen for attacks as it's a bit odd for a post FF tactics style game to use that style.

I just started playing my old Dragon's Dogma save on my Switch again. Trying to make some progress.

I've currently been playing Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life for GameCube because I replayed it so many times when I was younger but never 100%'d it. I just got to make my first round of hybrid crops and it felt amazing!!
I also have been playing Hatsune Miku Project Diva F for PS3 because I wanted to try getting the platinum trophy for it. Surprisingly, you can still do things that require online features, which was really neat!
