This just popped into my head. What are games that utilize time travel in interesting ways? I'll start

Oh wow I completely forgot about Cris Tales, I remember liking the demo. Anyway there is this game called Homebody which is basically a survival horror/stalker horror but with a twist -- you're stuck in a time loop. Technically its hardly a time travel because you go back only one evening but I think its still worth mentioning for how clever its implemented. Instead of being a game over as usual, here death is a mechanic that allows you to learn information like enemy pattern, puzzle solutions, door passwords etc. and then repeat the cycle with that knowledge. So eventually you figure out the perfect course of action by knowing every little thing thats going to happen. Its very satisfying, I highly recommend that game.

I liked Majora's Mask's 3 day loop. It made all the side stories just that much more tragic because there's no way you can do them all in a single 3 day cycle which means no matter what you do something bad will still happen.

I vote this one:

It's a pretty cool early-era PS2 game, where you play a guy trying to stop his own murder. Involves a lot of time jumping in and around the same town, sometimes centuries in the past, sometimes just a few minutes. A little janky and pretty linear, but all these years later, I really haven't played anything else quite like it

Fun fact:
Homonculus was voiced by Charles Martinet (old voice of Mario)
One of my first Playstation 2 games.
Very cool game.

Agree to disagree on Final Fantasy XIII-2. That system really tanked my enjoyment of the game! I needed a guide, and even then I got lost trying to navigate and figure out when I was meant to go next. Some locations have like 4-5 different versions based on the time you go there ::sailor-embarrassed

I always liked platformers like Crash Bandicoot 4, or Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart where the time period can change mid level!
