Games where you play as a doll?

This is both more and less specific than the last thread I made here, just looking for games where you play as a doll or have a doll as a party member! Not in the vein of Barbie or Bratz games, to be clear. Geno from SMRPG is a good example but not really a template of what I'm thinking of. I'm aware of Rhapsody and that seems like a good example? But I'm wondering if there are any others I'm not aware of...

getting all the way to The After Years for some doll party members sounds a little exhausting if that's what i'm there for. the doll in shadow hearts kind of creeps me out and isn't really what i'm looking for? and i'm pretty sure the chrono trigger one is a boss fight, no? and the characters in labyrinth of refrain don't really have sufficient enough doll features to look the proper part... but thank you for the recommendations!

i do think there is a difference between *having* a doll and *being* a doll, but i had not considered looking into fighting games specifically before! some promising picks in there, i'm sure

Dynamite Headdy, you play as a puppet who can change heads.
Clockwork Knight, you play as a clockwork toy.
Busou Shinki Battle Masters, the girls are all miniature robots that look like figmas.
Doll's Nest, however the "doll" you create won't look doll-like unless you go out of your way for it (ball-joints, etc).
It's a gacha (kinda) and it'll take you a bit of effort to acquire, but in Master Duel you can play a deck (Gimmick Puppet) that consists of several dolls, puppets and robots of varying appearances, some of them are hard to look at due to how creepy they are, but others are downright cute.

i just looked up what a bisque doll is! that's scary! not really the sort of thing i'm looking for. puppets and robots that look like dolls or puppets are perfectly in line what i'm looking for (hell, you can even err closer to the robot side if you want, that's usually where you see ball joints in character designs. essentia 2000 from yiik actually hits more boxes than not for me even though she is Extremely a robot)

Idk if the one in "I wanna a room in Loopy town" (Cassio Loopy, JP-only) could be considered a doll-like character or maybe those in Touhou games... Touhou characters are more like magical girls/entities. I could mention Polly Pocket games, but since you've said you're not looking for Barbie/Bratz stuff...
