I was genuinely sad when the terrible voice acting was gone in the sequel (along with the massive open world, being able to eat diamonds and zombie ghosts)

The Oneechanbara games starting at Bikini Zombie Slayers. These games have always been mixed with critics or given terrible reviews, but these games are decent, but got better starting at Z. Though the PS2 originals and the Bikini Samurai Squad are bad games, and I have no interest in touching those. The Z games and Origins are loved by hardcore fans and action games fans looking for fun and unique mechanics.

I love Breath of Fire III, but tried many times the IV, and just can't get into, its too boring, the cities are confusing, and the mini-games mostly annoy me, its a shame because i see for the most people is their favorite.
Digimon World 2 is the only one i liked in the PS1, while i know its extremely slow, at least it gives what i want, capture and fuse Digimon, i wanted more simple games like that than the Novels of new digimon games, with thousand of dialogs from characters that i dont care.
Honestly say that dont like FFVII is not a hot take, it becomes quite normal to hate popular games, the hot take is say that is your favorite, i have much more nostalgy for FFVIII (my first), but after had played FFVII, was a blast, love the materia and limit system, so much to explore and characters that feel good to use (except Caith Sith that sucks).

Oneechanbara Z2 Chaos on PS4 is really good, awesome game.

Not just Oneechanbara, Dead or Alive and Senran Kagura too, honestly even the Hyperdimension Neptunia games are now looked down on as if they are cheap gooner slop, even Nintendo of America rejected those yet they have no problem flooding the eshop with AI slop.

I got special edition on a sale back in 2021. It cost me $47.99, but it was worth it, so I would not have to all of the DLC later. Just wait for that sale again. PSPlus is not worth the game, and has more value getting it on a deep sale.

I don't use the term "gooner". Lame and makes 0 sense. The people against these games are long gone or have fallen into obscurity. Adam Sessler from X-Play being one of them.

Ironic, as Nintendo had no problem with any of these games being on their respective consoles and/or handheld consoles. They let Bayonetta on their fine, and pretty much any fighting game that has fan-service. Code of Princess is on 3DS and Switch with the EX port. Stellarblade is getting a Switch 2 port.

DOA is partially true in some sense, but Koei Tecmo did it themselves and pushed hard on the fan-service with their advertisements prior to DOA6, and those Volleyball games. Ironic, as SF was always fan-service heavy got more into it with IV & V especially. The only reason SF gets away with most of the time, is because people are used to it, or due to the series being high pedigree fighting game franchise.

Senran Kagura has depth, and I don't regret my time with them. They do have their questionable moments and are still sexifying teenagers, even if it is meant as a joke/not to be taken too seriously (implied and stated lesbian bath scenes with non-consistent touching). Though the creator of the series moved on a long time ago. You can only do these so many times before it gets old. Nothing too personal against SK, but I have no need to go back. I got so many better brawlers to play.

No. It's just fools need to get off social media, touch grass, and not constantly seeking "gotcha" moments and constantly bitching over dumb bullshit with entertainment and fictional characters. It's called enjoy life, and fuck anybody for having a problem with your entertainment choices. So long as you're not hurting somebody or being obnoxious from either angle, I don't care what someone plays. I don't need to know everything 24/7, but I will move on within the next day.

Sonic the Fighters

I don't know if people hate Sonic the Fighter, it was fairly unknown back in the day. I was a huge fan of Sega's 3D fighters and I still liked Sonic in the late '90s when I first heard about it as a young kid, so I couldn't believe this game existed and was somehow unknown and unaccessible. I got to play it some years later and it's pretty solid.
