Games that didn't get the recognition they deserved

Just some guesses as I don't honestly know.

ZAMN is so damn good, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was too hard for the average person. I've barely seen past around level 28 or so.

Ah, so like a Top 10 video on Youtube xD
Ok zoomer

King's Field IV. Back in the day it didn't get much attention and was panned by most critics. Even with Fromsoft's fame now, the series gets overshadowed by the Souls games.

Strife was one.

Sid Meier's Colonization was another.

SU-27 FLANKER and Dogfight: 80 Years Of Aerial Warfare were disrespected quite heavily, too. As was Snoopy vs the Red Baron.

God Hand for the PS2 didn’t got the recognition it deserves for a fun and solid action beat ‘em up but instead it was butchered by reviewers upon its release.
IGN's 3/10 review of God Hand is probably more well known than the game itself, which is a shame as its peak 3d Beat Em Up. Feels like people were really harsh on Beat Em Ups in general back then, even though a lot of beloved games of the era were Beat Em Up adjacent.

Do you think Wipeout 2048 is better than the one on PS3?
I never got to play 2048

Prototype 2 was really fun! Much like the first game and a huge step forward but it kinda flew under the radar.

Seemed a lot of games at the time only got one sequel. Maybe the first game sold really well or just enough that they were like "We're not sure this will be a franchise, but let's give it one more go."
