I'm currently trying to make a reference guide to Nosferatu media (even if tangentially connected to Nosferatu), because I'm alive and for no other reason.

I've found these games so far:
  • Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi (2003) PC, Idol FX
  • Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (2004) PC, Troika Games
  • SpongeBob's Truth or Square (2009) NDS/PSP/WII/360, Heavy Iron Studios, Altron, Barking Lizards Technologies
  • Nosferatu Lilinor (2019) PC/SWITCH, neon
  • Nosferatu's Butler (2020) PC, Ani4Bio Animated, Isiflix Prod.
  • Project Nosferatu (2023) PC, Cartel Interactive
I've only played the opening hours of vampire the masquerade so far (which is sick as hell, not sure how ive never played it before), but I'm playing through them all to take notes and see how much nosferatu shit is in 'em.

(edit: tbh i probs shouldnt bother with games like "Nosferatu's Butler", looks like a single dev hobby or student project. Steam is filled with those)

Anyway, y'all know of any games that have any connection to Nosferatu?

How tangential are we talking? I assume you'd count Dracula if you had wanted to, but it *is* just an unlicensed German Dracula. Do other offbrand Dracula's count or does it need to look like the 1922 character specifically?

(I have no answers, just pedantic questions.)

Alexander Ashford in Re: Code Veronica is also known as nosferatu(final boss in part-1), I'm not sure if he fits though.

Just gonna comment on some of the stuff that has been brought up:

In Nosferatu Wrath of Malachi, Nosferatu is only in the title, some enemies share a little in appearance, but for the most part its not really a thing.

In Vampire the Masquerade, Nosferatu is the name of one of the vampire clans, those who belong to it, bear a curse that makes them look hideous, so they specialize on sneaking around and hacking.

haha yeah if I included dracula or other dracula knock offs, that would be uhhh a lotta shit. Specifically the 1922 character, or depictions of things that are PRETTY MUCH nosferatu (not just a nasty vampire, but clearly designed after the original nosferatu)

damn, bummed abt the malachi thing. was stoked for a 2003 nosferatu game. masquerade still works for me tbh, the game is playing with a nosferatu archetype that's not JUST a nasty vampire, but also pulls from the murnau depiction in looks and rats to boot <3 havent played enuff to see how much the writing has to say about em yet, but so far i think it works.

Does this count?

The vampire unit in Heroes of M&M 3 looks like your typical Nosferatu. D&D also got a setting for gothic horror that I really liked, Ravenloft which had a few videogames adaptations. I guess a lot of heroic fantasy games have caracters inspired of it, just played Altered Beast arcade yesterday and I found the necromancer looked a bit like a Nosferatu.

Also, on a more positive note...
