Having problems with this Roxio GameCap and asking for help on what capture cards will work on an Intel i5 4200u Laptop. (Something with a YPbPr component input)

I know a little bit about capture cards. It would help to know what it is you're trying to capture.

I've always just used an hdmi capture card with a separate converter for other inputs.

Mostly stuff off the Wii & PS2.

I think it would be easier to buy something from Avermedia/Elgato (depending on what is cheaper where you live) and get a separate converter with inputs you need.

Do the Elgato HD60 ones have problems? Im already looking at the Game Capture HD.

After years of asking streamers and content creators I gathered that those who have Avermedia had bad experience with Elgato and vice versa. So my takeaway was just pick what's more affordable and fills your needs because there is no real guarantee something will work flawlessly. Avoiding the internal ones is usually a good decision, though I know couple people who swear by internal Avermedia and Magewell cards.

Forgot to say this, it has a 1.7ghz CPU.
