There's 3 Indonesians in the replies, including me. Only 1 Malaysian I can see on page 1.

Also, Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Melayu are 2 very different languages, even if developed from the same root. It's Indonesians' language of unity. Please show some respect
Thank you for the correction! : D
I didn’t intend any disrespect. I was simply not aware. Please be nice! This is all in the name of fun. ?

Every asshole soon finds its tissue. Something my mémé said. Might have it mixed up, the translator doesn't give the exact phrase, so I think it might be an Acadian or Quebecois saying.
I get the idea.
À chaque pot son couvercle / A lid for every pot
for a softer wording ?

A lot of Canadian French expressions are English expressions that have been back ported to 17th century Parisian French, so they might sound strange to European speakers, like zzzzzzzzzzzz'Attache ta tuque!" Which is based on the English expression "Hold on to your hat!", but means "Hold on tight".

LATAM
Argentina
Spanish

But i still play my games in english because neutral spanish sounds so dumb i cant take it seriously. Translators are doing god's work but i cant stand spanish translations.

- Latam / SouthAmerica
- Argentina, Buenos Aires
- Spanish, English (self-taught to play JRPGs (not a joke))
- Something silly: Uruguay is another Argentinian province, they just like to cosplay as a country.
- Something true: Our pizza is better than the Italian one (no, I won't say sorry for this).

  1. LATAM.
  2. Argentina.
  3. Spanish.
  4. La suma de las raíces cuadradas de dos lados de un triángulo isósceles es igual a la raíz cuadrada del lado restante.

Europe.
Bulgaria.
Natively: Bulgarian.
Taught/picked up on the internet: English, German as a second foreign language in high school and bits of other languages.
I contribute being terminally online and picking up English before getting into school to a family friend buying us a PC when I was in kindergarten.
Math is the only place where someone would buy 60 watermelons and 40 cantaloupes, and no one asks any questions.

This thread made me wonder if i've been able to succesfully conceal my home country. I don't think i've said a single thing that reveals my location.
