PS1 Forgotten Early PS1 games.

oh man, the early days of PS1 had those long boxes.
I didnt get a Playstation until FF7 came out, but I remember going to my friends' house to play some of those long box games.

My vote is for Discworld

Musashi: Samurai Legend on PS2 is a sequel to Brave Fencer Musashi from PS1, not "remake".
Well I did correct it to "reboot" they were trying to remake the image of the franchise with an updated look. (It'd been a long time since I last played it so I didn't recall if it was directly connected to the previous game,) Looking at it, you'd be hard pressed to think it had anything to do with the original beyond the name.

The more generations come and got the more likely you are to find people who have never heard of some games that might have been big deals. I bet the person saying Metal Gear Solid was an underrated title would be stunned to know the series started with 2D spites. And it's mainly because not many people talk about the beginnings of some franchises after they "graduate" to a new generation and the mechanics grow to appeal to new audiences unless there's an HD remake or remaster. (or in the case of something like Jumping Flash there hasnt been a hew sequel in what? 30 years? not counting the PS3 downloadable re-release and apparently a cameo in AstroBot, but then again everything even remotely Sony related was in that game)

I'd argue that Blaster Master Blasting Again is actually forgotten
2000 release, very late in the PS1 life-cycle. Half the thread are answers that are either not early or not forgotten. People just like to say things.

Project Horned Owl is a predecessor light gun game to the much more known Elemental Gearbolt, both developed by Alfa Systems.
