I've tried Jager years ago and was kinda mixed on it at the time, but I've considered giving it another shot (heh) too. I used to dislike whiskey but now my preferred drink is an Old-fashioned, so I don't like to assume I'll dislike something forever. If alcohol isn't a problem for you, try Jägermeister. I hated black licorice before I drank it, and now have a more open mind to anything flavored with it.

I find the taste of burning delicious, and mild foods are often bland to me. It's an odd satisfactory burn, like the kind from a workout. It's hard to explain. There aren’t foods I particularly hate but I’m not a fan of spicy foods. It just feels like my mouth burning with no particular taste. I guess that’s what people enjoy about it but it’s not my thing.

The thing I don’t understand though is why I should build up a tolerance in the first place, it may get better after eating it for a while but I don’t want to burn my mouth until I get used to it lol
