Foods you hate?

If alcohol isn't a problem for you, try Jägermeister. I hated black licorice before I drank it, and now have a more open mind to anything flavored with it.

I've tried Jager years ago and was kinda mixed on it at the time, but I've considered giving it another shot (heh) too. I used to dislike whiskey but now my preferred drink is an Old-fashioned, so I don't like to assume I'll dislike something forever.

There aren’t foods I particularly hate but I’m not a fan of spicy foods. It just feels like my mouth burning with no particular taste. I guess that’s what people enjoy about it but it’s not my thing.

The thing I don’t understand though is why I should build up a tolerance in the first place, it may get better after eating it for a while but I don’t want to burn my mouth until I get used to it lol

I find the taste of burning delicious, and mild foods are often bland to me. It's an odd satisfactory burn, like the kind from a workout. It's hard to explain.

I see, I still don’t get it but to each their own I guess. I understand though that mild foods may taste bland if you’re used to eat spicy foods lol

Spicy ass food. If it's just a little spice then I don't mind. But for those that ate something so damn spicy, how tf can you enjoyed that and not be like me and this guy?

It's kind of a perspective thing. Things I use to think were waaaaaay too spicy were actually painful, and now I really enjoy them. Thing is, since my heat tolerance went up? They aren't painful, or overpowering... they just taste good and have a really pleasant sensation. Gets the stim going.

Same with sour stuff. I use to be unable to eat a Warhead without taking it out of my mouth like six times at least... Now? I actually cannot find anything sour enough for me, much less too sour. It's borderline depressing.

I really don't like heavily greasy foods, and grease in general. Don't like the taste or the mouth feel, nor do I like how it makes me feel.

I also hate the taste of pineapple... like a lot.

Corn. I can't stand the texture, taste, or the fact it gets stuck in your teeth. Makes my skin crawl.

Everything that has something called ''Salsa Valentina'' its a very popular mexican hot sauce but for me i it has something like a strong vinegar smell

I am a big eater, but these are the lines i draw

Yolk on egg, be boiled or fried, i find it too foul tasting to enjoy
Pancita, a stew made of stomach of cows and mutton, used to like it as a kid, nowadays i feel it kinda slate flavored
Guava, way too many sharpnel seeds in a not that good tasting fruit
Queso de puerco, a sort of ham for snack that looks like made from leftover ham slices and tastes like plastic
Zuccini, no matter how is cooked, it tastes more like wet paper (Not in a good way like say, cucumber)
Pink Grapefruit, tried to have it any way possible, but the bitterness always overwhelms me

That's a great question. Well for fruits, I can't stand the taste of Bananas. Eating a banana makes my stomach kinda upset. So naturally I can't stand it.

I don't like Brussels sprouts. Never liked em. Never will.

About a week ago I got a fruit cup from the cafeteria and realized it came with honey melon. I thought about how I only had that fruit when I was a kid and hated it. I figured my tasted had aged since then and it was worth a shot. It tasted so bad I vomited, like bile came through my throat. So if there is any food I hate, it's probably that. Been hating it for decades now.

I feel odd admitting it, but honestly almost all vegetables are my bane lol. And its not even the taste, its just texture that doesn't agree with me. I can tolerate mushrooms, carrots and flavors of them but whole? Forget about it.

My way around that is either pulverizing them with a food processor or finely dicing into the dishes I make. Finer they are, the better.

My earlier answer was a poorly timed joke. My real answer is something no one here heard of. It’s called Rahash. It’s a sweet. Exclusive to here only. Unfortunately, describing the flavor would be like describing a color that doesn’t exist. There’s no comparisons to be made, it is just the worst thing I ate in my life and always dread if a dessert has it because the flavor is just THAT strong. My goal is to never enjoy it, my goal is to simply eventually build up tolerance for it. It instantly makes me wanna hurl and I heard it’s a prison food too. Still, I’m alone. Everyone in Kuwait loves it except me apparently!
