What's a food you just cannot stand? Is there something specific you don't like or just it as a whole?

I really don't like heavily greasy foods, and grease in general. Don't like the taste or the mouth feel, nor do I like how it makes me feel.

I also hate the taste of pineapple... like a lot.

I actually love black licorice. Like... a lot. We're a rare breed.
I have on multiple occasions thought "I'll give it a shot, maybe I was too harsh" and struggle to get past one piece.

For what it's worth, I get what it's like to rep an unpopular candy. I love circus peanuts. XP

I can't stand meat sinse I stopped eating it years ago

Eggs. My body straight up cannot tolerate them.
If they have to be used for cooking something else (like baking a cake), that's one thing, as long as I don't get the egg taste. If I taste it, I end up convulsing for a bit. Not pleasant.

Pineapples. i just don't like them
and Mushrooms, Highly Allergic to them, so i don't know if i would like them or not.

Gristle fatty meats, raw eggs, most soups with shellfish, Balut, fish with bones in-tact

I don't like overly greasy food.

I also don't like brussel sprouts but part of that comes from slight trauma as a child where my mom made them in a way that tasted awful to me and my brother, and my dad yelled at us saying we couldn't leave the table until we ate all the awful-tasting brussel sprouts. (My mom would also later say that she made them pretty awfully that time)

I'm usually not too picky, but there are some thing I can't condone:
  • Bland food in general. I am obsessed with the spice isle at the supermarket because it is the lifeblood of my meals. Ditto the sauces. Food without flavor tastes like a dystopia looks.
  • Nori by itself. It's good when it's part of a dish, but I don't get people who snack on it like chips.
  • Croutons. I like bread with my salad, but not stale, hard to eat bread cubes.
  • Cooked salmon. It tastes best raw. (Don't worry, I only eat sushi-grade salmon raw.)
  • Cottage cheese. I like most other cheeses, even the ones that stink. But cottage cheese has the texture and taste of vomit.

I physically cannot eat sweet potatoes. My gag reflex activates and I know that from experience after being forced to when I was younger

Also regular tomatoes taste like ass and I will not eat them unless its sauce.

fish in general, i try it once and i never like it,something about the smell and taste really repulses me.(-@_@-)

Spicy ass food. If it's just a little spice then I don't mind. But for those that ate something so damn spicy, how tf can you enjoyed that and not be like me and this guy?
I'm a spicy food lover. At a certain point you build up a tolerance and have to chase higher and higher Scoville numbers.

If alcohol isn't a problem for you, try Jägermeister. I hated black licorice before I drank it, and now have a more open mind to anything flavored with it.

Can't eat mushrooms‽ My heart goes out to you and your low umami life. ::sadkirby

There aren’t foods I particularly hate but I’m not a fan of spicy foods. It just feels like my mouth burning with no particular taste. I guess that’s what people enjoy about it but it’s not my thing.

The thing I don’t understand though is why I should build up a tolerance in the first place, it may get better after eating it for a while but I don’t want to burn my mouth until I get used to it lol
