Final Fight LNS Ultimate v4.2 just released!

Nestor will announce the release date of FFLNSU v4.3 tomorrow at his YouTube channel, along with a summary of new 1cc games passed. He has reached 1630 1cc's until now!

So here are the hot news... (I feel like the newspaper boy  )

Unless something unexpected happens, Final Fight LNS Ultimate v4.3 will be released on next Saturday 13th December.

Just as said before, the update will basically include new skins that suit better for all characters and lots of minor bug fixes, in order to leave nothing back undone for the next major update (v5.0) which is planned to add new characters, stages, maybe new mechanics and items...
Release date of v5.0 remains undefined, but won't be "soon".

Nestor says that since this new version 4.3, Android support for the game will be officially discontinued due to the complexity and excessive variability of this modern operating system, still not really good for gaming.
Despite it, LNS channel will try to help users to run the game on their Android machines.

That's all folks!
Congratulations to Nestor, who has reached the current mark of 1630 arcades 1cc's!
🥳

Hoping to see you reaching 2000 1cc's and more in good health! ::peacemario

P.D.: Please remember I'm just an outsider, don't ask me for technical help! O__o

Seems there's a late hotfix involving a buggy character in the game. It's been solved around 11 hours ago. Here's the original message:

"Final Fight LNS 4.3, ya disponible para descarga. Si descargasteis el juego ayer durante el directo de presentación del mismo, volved a hacerlo ya que había un bug en un personaje. Web Activa y actualizada: https://www.fflns.com/"

Just re-download and install again, keep your saves. Have fun!

I can't run it on my smartphone too because of strict security limitations of the newest AndroidOS core versions.
Despite that, I run it on a handheld console which has an older dedicated version of the Android core.

How to simply run it (user level):

- You only need to get 2 files from the official website https://final-fight-lns.web.app/descarga to run it on a compatible android device.
Download both the .apk file (a modified OpenBor app dedicated to this game) and the .pak file (the game itself compressed in a single file).

- Install the .apk file and run it. The app will give you some kind of warning message like ".pak file is missing...". Then close the app.

- By using your file explorer app, place the .pak file at the indicated location ("PAKS" folder at the new "OpenBor" folder recently created by the app).

- Restart now the app, it should work.

I can't tell you no more since these first easy steps.
There should be some way to unlock newer Android cores in order to install this .apk file, but maybe requires advanced knowledge of AndroidOS and/or makes you take unnecessary risks.
If you still want to go further, Nestor said that LNS Discord channel could help.
