Capcom vs SNK 2
Live and let die! FIGHT!Capcom vs SNK 2
Imagine a Capcom vs Marvel vs SNK. I would dieLive and let die! FIGHT!
We'll never see another great crossover game such as this one (and MvC2 obviously).
MUGEN is our best friend.Imagine a Capcom vs Marvel vs SNK. I would die
I still long for a DarkstalkersMUGEN is our best friend.
I still long for a Guilty Gear X BlazBlue or a Darkstalkers vs Guilty Gear...
I'm seeing your pfp and I understand your pain.I still long for a Darkstalkers
I bet Darkstalkers would be a cool crossover for Killer Instinct. A Lord Raptor Skelator fight come to mindI'm seeing your pfp and I understand your pain.
Nowadays it's more like Capcom would put Morrigan in crossover games like "yeah yeah we remember DarkStalkers, stop asking us."
I love Alpha era spritework (even above SFIII's).

This is my first time hearing about this so I dunno. Is that true that Capcom considered a DarkStalkers X Guilty Gear game at some point?

the epitome of sprite work and agreed better than SF3.I wish we got more fighting games with non human characters... Whether they're animal hybrids like Bloody Roar or robots like in Zero Divide.I bet Darkstalkers would be a cool crossover for Killer Instinct. A Lord Raptor Skelator fight come to mind.
Maybe this is a hot take but SFIII had great animations but at the cost of a limited roster (even in Third Strike) compared to Alpha 3 and I also prefer the lighter colours and less gritty feeling of the Alpha series. I do prefer the SFIII NG/2nd Impact and SFA1&2 over their respective third entries'.the epitome of sprite work and agreed better than SF3.
Kind of similar to how last blade 2 / garou are better than kof13 for me.
I've seen it in a Guilty Gear Retrospective video but maybe it's either false or not exactly told like that. This is my first time hearing about this so I dunno.
Speaking of DarkStalkers why is this complicated? Is that true that Capcom considered a DarkStalkers X Guilty Gear game at some point?
Tekken tag tournament 2 is lit i only got it for the first time last year.Tekken has always been "my jam". Tekken 3 and Tekken 5 are my favorites, and to lesser extent Tekken 4, TTT. I want to put more time into Tekken 6 as well, and crack open Tekken 7.
I enjoy the cast of characters, music, the "snappy" game feel, the button-limb control and the extremely clear way the character move list is presented.
I've dabbled in some other fighting games, but Tekken is home.
It's a bit expensive but I like the look of the game.Kizuna Encounter came out on Steam today and hoo boy, King Leo is as difficult as ever.![]()
2XKO has taken over a huge chunk of space at my local, forcibly rearranging things. It kicked the Guilty Gear players out of their spot and into the spot that used to be for City of the Wolves, which itself used to be the odd ball whatever spot. Has also gotten on the rotation of streamed brackets with SF6 and T8. Attendee count has been good enough to secure it as a weekly bracket after its trial period. On the other hand, do people care about the LoL fighting game?
Tekken 7 is in a pretty good sweet spot of being a really balanced game but without the clunkyness of the old and without the hyper aggressiveness of tekken 8 so you may feel it’d be a big comfort, especially given it’s easily available on modern platforms and doesn’t have an inactive player base.Tekken has always been "my jam". Tekken 7 is indeed a million years better than the 8 but the 7 is nearly completely dead because everyone moved on to 8 (and left tekken altogether after finding out how mediocre it is).Tekken 7 is in a pretty good sweet spot of being a really balanced game but without the clunkyness of the old and without the hyper aggressiveness of tekken 8 so you may feel it’d be a big comfort, especially given it’s easily available on modern platforms and doesn’t have an inactive player base.
I've always been in the "Super Smash Bros is a party game" team myself (although Melee and Project M/+ are good for serious gameplay). GG Strive is watered down Guilty sadly.I was never into the competitive side of fighting games, but I gotta say I did witnessed many toxic moments irl, especially for Smash Bros. Ultimate and Guilty Gear Strive. And also a little bit Tekken but not as bad.
ASB? I need to replay Venture and Heritage to the Future.I definitely overplayed online stuff like the JoJo fighting games (the arcade and ASB) and found affascinating the DB FighterZ one. But that's about it.

Toxic moments happen in any competition/human vs human environments sadly, even in sport.
That DS game looks neat. The UI is like CvS 2.Oh yeah, haven't mentioned: I think I took Budokai 3 and Supersonic Warriors 2 for DS (OF ALL DBZ GAMES) way too seriously. But I had so much fun with both. Budokai 3 mostly as a spectator but that gameplay is so fun to watch (and play if I had more skills on me).
I would play Smash with friends with items (even if that would make some folks foam from their mouth).Fully aware of that, I spoke about my personal experiences. This doesn't meant I would boicot those games/series, not at all. I'm very close to 1000 hours on Ultimate and pretty sure at this point I will go after them, even if I play that game once in a while lol.
I knew about Guilty and BlazBlue before I really got into fighting games and when I saw how metal the series was I always felt like Strive could've been a different series because they dropped a bit of that "hardcore" feeling in the OST and art style.I can't say much on Guilty Gear Strive, I'm mostly on casual sides and thought it was a funny great fighting game, haven't perceived this "watered down" side and I did tried other games of the series. I know they're a lot on technical level.
