As an addendum to my previous two, I'll also mention Bryan Fury's taunt. The move is unblockable, and has just enough frame advantage to combo into a frame perfect jet upper (as shown in the gif above!) which is notable for serving as a guard breaking launcher.

Taunt Jet Upper (TJU) is incredibly difficult to perform as a non-Bryan player, and is executionally considered to be one of the hardest techniques to perform in the game.

I love techniques like this! It deals mental damage to the opponent for being able to hit it, while also acting as a means to add depth to a Bryan player's gameplan.

So I'm gonna mention Shao Kahn for this one. Specifically, his MK Deception (Unchained on PSP) version.
First, Shao Kahn is the worst character in the game, and I'd say his taunts are one of the reasons why.
Taunts in 3D MK usually restore health, which is fine by itself. But Shao Kahn's taunts take forever to recover, barely heal him and once you use three of them, you can't use them anymore, like the move doesn't come out at all.

At least Dan's super taunt in SVC Chaos gives both players full meter. Problem is in most games he has it, he takes like 5x the amount of damage he usually does if you hit him during it.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom is great.

Vanilla TvC (called Cross Generation of Heroes, only released in Japan) and Ultimate All Stars (usually called UAS, and is the international release) are very different in balance and character roster, with UAS being the preferred release for most.

In some ways TvC feels like a beta for Marvel 3, as both were developed by 8ing. The game allows you to burst out of a combo, which is not usually found in the Vs. series, but is common in Arcsys games. Plus, the game does some interesting stuff with its Baroque mechanic, which sacrifices a character's red health to extend combos.

I'd consider UAS to be the best fighter on the Wii, no doubt. And while I'm generally unfamiliar with Tatsunoko characters, I find Casshan, Joe the Condor, and Tekkaman Blade to be very cool characters.

It's really unfortunate that the game is trapped on a system that wasn't well-adopted by fighting game players. It made an already niche crossover exponentially more niche.

Dead or alive 6 and maybe 5 has Nyotengu's Ojou laugh taunt, that can be followed up with. A taunt to taunt combo.

I suck at DBZ Tenkaichi 3 and the modded version "(Tenkaichi 4) I'm okay with Budokai 1-3.

But I'll be playing Gundam Battle Assault 2 survival mode and end up playing it all day. I love that game so much. Kinda wishing we had more Battle Assault games.

I tried bloody roar one time and all I could remember from the last time I played was getting stopped out by an elephant dude.

My favourite ones are 3rd strike, Alpha 3, MOTW, GGX2 TMC, MVC 2.
I´d really want to see a new Bloody Roar, that series is too good to be forgotten.

I've come to the conclusion that SNK Heroines is just SNK Gals' Fighters but bad.
It's mind boggling how a Neogeo Pocket game feels way better to play than this game that came 20 something years later.

After days grinding i did what was a perfect run in survival mode, had maxed out attack and defense already, had soul of zepp, had auto heal, had time traveled and it was looking like nothing could stop me now...
Until i had to fight a shadow Baiken and my game crashed at lvl 700
