Should be compatible with other translations, my mod only affects the BATTLE.X module whereas translations should mostly just affect the scene.bin module. You may have to manually import it if your preferred ROMhack changes the sector offsets, though.RoSoDude is back with another ATB improvement. I've been enjoying his FF9 version, and while looking it up online today I found out this came out today! Not sure it's compatible with Beacause, but I might play the original translation just a bit to have a go at this.
GET IT!
Pssst, you can play the CTB Wait Addon in my hacks for FF6, FF7, and FF9 to make them completely turn-based like FFX.honestly ffx perfected the turn-based
turns dictated by agi? iirc and it's all set in stone, everyone waits their turn no matter what
that's how to fix the ATB, just remove it and make time pause for whoever has their turn
Maybe, could you please put the links to these hacks in one place? Like in a new thread, where you can also share updates if would be any. Or Repo talk download section. It might eventually end up uploaded to the repo here, that will be just great.Pssst, you can play the CTB Wait Addon in my hacks for FF6, FF7, and FF9 to make them completely turn-based like FFX.
Hi there! Is this compatible with the recent retranslation?
It doesn't work with the Steam PC translation by the way.Hi there!
I know my PPF patches work with Final Proofread VII, but I've been told they don't work with the PSX port of Beacause, and might not work with Shinra Archaeology Cut either. The issue is that these hacks change the sector offsets for FF7's filesystem, and it's infeasible for me to provide PPF patches for every possible hack configuration.
In anticipation of issues like these, I provided an alternate method to install my ATB hack, which requires CDmage (or maybe PowerISO). You can install the BATTLE.X module directly onto your hacked ROM.
