My dad figured out how to score from a long pass every single time, so our matches always ended up something like 9-8.

I wouldn't change those memories for the world.

Never one for soccer games, but I did play through one to make a longplay dedicated to someone special for his birthday, as he was a Megaman fan as I decided every year to do a Megaman Longplay to him.

In short: Megaman Soccer (Because I have not played any other Soccer game)

It's neat that you aquire diffirent team members as you beat bosses In Mega Man fashion, but difficulty wise It's a pain and actually felt like a real struggle to earn a win that Is well deserved. But because It's the only one I played, It's a fav by default. Not really going out of my way to play a genre when I'm not a fan of the sport despite being In the UK.

If I did decide to play any other, It would most likely be Backyard Soccer.

Now you can call me "old", but my favourite game still is "match day", a game for old 8-bit micro-computers (mine was a Spectrum):

I played this for hours during a pair of summers...

On other platforms, they are:
- International Superstar Soccer Deluxe (SNES)
- Mario Strikers Charged (Wii). I got really hooked to the online.
