01. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

This here isn't just a game; it's a religion. Your arguments are invalid! Seriously, though, I've been a fan of the series since the very first game. After the arguable second installment (which I actually liked quite a lot), this one felt like magic. It still does. Up to this moment, this is the best in the series, in my opinion.
02.Star Trek: The Next Generation - Future's Past

This one can feel a little too confusing to a new player, especially with no guide at hand. But come on, it's Trek! And even though The Next Generation was always my least favorite one out there (I totally prefer either the original series or things that TNG spawned, like DS9 for example), this one still feels magical.
03.Gekisō Sentai Carranger: Zenkai! Rēsā Senshi

Ca-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-arranger!~ What can I say? Super Sentai FTW! It's sad that we don't have enough games based on those tokusatsu shows. Like most Sentai games, this one is too easy, but it's fun, the original charm is there, and there are even two different endings.
04. Batman Forever

Keaton >>>>>> Bale. Your arguments are invalid! No, seriously, I'm far from being a big fan of Bats, but Burton's movies were great, and this game totally got the charm right. That driving stage was far from being perfect, but aside from that, this game is pure charm. It was a perfect addition to the movie back then, and it still works as a great beat 'em up today.
05.The Lost Vikings

A perfect blend of action and puzzles. Simple like that.
06.Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts

Huge fan of the series here (as long as we don't count those ports for personal computers, that is). It sure felt right at home on SNES.
07.Street Fighter II

The best fighting game at the time. No competition.
08.Super Metroid

The game that gave name to the genre, and up to this day, is considered one of the very best in it. Enough said.
09.Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

When it comes to Mario, I prefer Famicom games over what we had on Super Famicom. Also, the Super Famicom certainly had lots of great RPGs. This one, though? With its casual approach? There was just something very special about it.
10.Mega Man X

What can I say? It was everything I wanted it to be. Simple as that. I've been a fan since the very first game, and aside from being extremely spectacular, this one did a very smart thing: it managed to avoid feeling like they were beating a dead horse. If you know what I mean. If anything, the game felt fresh, which, at the moment, was a dang miracle. Well, that's the SNES magic for you, I guess.
