Anime Favorite Slice of Life Anime

Furi Kuri. Absolute cinema::beer
It's not really a slice of life anime though.

Kaguya-sama Love is War, Grand Blue, ReLife, Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou
None of those are listed as a slice of life, according to myanimelist. The slice of life genre is more slow paced, relaxed, barely any drama in it.

my fave SoL anime is Azumanga Daiohit had a quirky cast of characters to say the least.

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is listed in MAL slice of life category.

Oh really ? I have a different definition for slice of life, so feel free to disregard the other anime that I listed if they don't meet the definition and replace them with Hyouka and Hyouka Lite aka Shoushimin.

Probably overlooked it due to rushing to check to see if they were or not.

I only use what myanimelist and such describe slice of life anime/manga is about, but it's fine if you have your own definition of it.

I really love THIS ONE

My reason because this anime make me Relax after my tired life working. And give me some new things about Farm.

Why farm? Because I'm city people

Toradora l'ho trovato davvero, niente spoiler per chi non la ancora visto 😄

Toradora? That's not a slice of life anime though, but it's listed as a drama & romance, with the school & love polygon theme. Kind of makes me wonder if some people don't honestly know what a slice of life anime is, since a few people mentioned animes that aren't listed as a slice of life on anime tracking websites or if they're trolling.

In no particular order...

Polar Bear Cafe
Restaurant to another world
The Helpful Fox
I reached max level after 300 years of killing slimes
How NOT to summon a demon lord
R.O.D. TV series
Death March to another world
Fluffy Paradise
Dragon goes House Hunting
RPG Real Estate
Chi's Sweet Home/New Address
Interviews with Monstergirls
80,000 gold to retire
Farming life in another world
Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun
Assassination Classroom
Bofuri

I would think if it doesn't have an 'end goal' like defeating the demon lord, or something like that then it can qualify as slice of life. Roll with the punches, etc. Bofuri and Kuma Kuma Kuma bear may be more adventure, but ultimately they aren't planning ahead beyond the next planned event and don't know where anything is going.

Toradora?

I'm basing this forum of mine based on what my animelist defines slice of life, so seeing people list anime that's aren't tagged as slice of life as a bit strange.

According to myanimelist, Dragon Goes House-Hunting , 80,000 gold to retire , Interviews With Monster Girl s, Bofuri , Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun , Assassination Classroom , Fluffy Paradise , Death March to another world , ROD TV series , I reached max level after 300 years of killing slimes and
How NOT to summon a demon lord don't have the slice of life tag. Out of those listed there, I've only ever seen Interviews With Monster Girls.
I thought it was relevant since there was the life story and the drama even if it belongs to a different category and set in school I'm a shipowner not a real expert on the genres specifically, I wasn't trolling I'm sorry I thought this.
Had to translate that since idk what language it's in, (Google said Italian? No clue to be honest) and I only speak English.. Anyways, like I mentioned to AnonymouCookieMonster, that's how I'm basing my forum here on what myanimelist describes as a slice of life and if I look up the anime on there & it's not listed as a slice of then, then it simply isn't. Not trying to cause any problems here.

🌟 I mean it's fine if people want to think certain series are slice of life when they're not.

I'm not a fan of slice of life anime. But I am a fan of battle shounen anime that have good slice of life moments whenever possible.
One of the best examples I know is Bleach. I love Keigo, I love Chizuru, and I love Chad who otherwise is an useless character. I love Karin (Yuzu not so much) and I love Isshin. I love their antics from the beginning of the series, and I wish we got more (that's why I don't like to skip Bleach fillers).
I love how in Kekkaishi, Yoshimori is more concerned about his cakes than about protecting Karasumori, which he mostly does out of his sense of guilt for having Tokine saving him as a kid and ending scarred for life. Also good school antics but the school cast is way shorter and appears much less than the one in Bleach or even the next example, a manga much shorter.
Another title I love, this one MOSTLY for the slice of life in it, is Buso Renkin by the same author of Rurouni Kenshin (yeah, THAT guy). I love the chemistry between Kazuki, Okakura, Daihama and the nerdy guy whose name I forgot now, and I also love Mahiro and Tokiko and Papillon.
I also like when they incorporate sports, like in Jujutsu Kaisen where they have that baseball game, or in Hunter X Hunter where there's Razor the single best antagonist slash event slash mini arc in all of the manga.
Tite Kubo likes to draw random stuff to open chapters and some of those random drawings gave birth to filler episodes, like the one where they're in the desert wearing turbains (became "Ichigo and the Magic Lamp") or the Halloween one. And I'm still waiting for the filler episode about the Olympics, if you know you know. But I hated when they just HAD TO insert a Hollow there (like in the beach episode) just for the sake of having some action. I liked the breaks — I liked the slice of life.
All this said, I could get interested in more straight slice of life anime or manga if they were shorter. One of my favorite anime in general, really like top ten or even top five, is Ghibli's Omoide Poroporo, that movie had me crying for most of the screen time and I almost dehydrated, it's so damn sweet and perfect. I gotta watch it again soon.

New Game is a slice of life about cute girls making video games. The stakes are very low and the drama almost nonexistent. Its just a feel good series from start to end.

I also like New Game! too & it's manga.
I liked Watamote if that counts. Uzaki-chan and nagatoro are also nice, but thats probably more romance.
Also another couple of my favorite animes.

I've got a couple.
Hidamari Sketch
Non Non Biyori
Azumanga Daioh
Yokohama Kaidaishi Kikou
Cardcaptor Sakura

By the grace of the gods
Leadale no Daichi nite
Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi
Kuro no Shoukanshi

Technicly Isekais but it´s a slice of life in a world better than our on where you follow the daily life of good hearten charters.

Reason I love them is they are just wholesome and always a light in the darkness of this world.
