Favorite Pokémon per generation?

Gen 1 = Nidoking
Gen 2 = Politoed
Gen 3 = Altaria
Gen 4 = Electivire
Gen 5 = Darmanitan
Gen 6 = Pangoro
Gen 7 = Golisopod
Gen 8 = Ursaluna
Gen 9 = Dondozo

I see we have some similarities:

Nidoking is the GOAT in gen 1 along with Gyarados. Nidoking can learn so many good moves for an early game pokemon.

Electivire... has its flaws but design wise it might be my favorite of the newly released evolutions of gen 4. It's great in PvE even if obtained really late. Just don't rely on it in PvP.

Pangoro is another good one. Took me a long time to figure out how to evolve it, but once I did it absolutely carried.

Golisopod is also a great choice. I actually didn't use one until post game for that battle tree, but it quickly became one of my most used mons for that. I also never realized how good its ability could be. Used to think it was a nuisance, but now I see that free switch-outs are like really good in PvP.
