since the steel ball run anime adaptation is coming out soon, i was just curious :)
my personal favorite is part 8, jojolion, but i think the jojolands might end up being my favorite by the end because i just adore an ensemble cast and this one is so good. i very much believe that the series only gets better as it goes along!!

I've only read from the beginning through about half of steel ball run, but based on that I'd go part 4 and the part 6. I like Jolyne the best, but the setting of part 4 is just too good.

Jojolion, its just great

Parts 1-4. Afterwards you feel as if you read a fashion magazine instead of a manga

I love Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency for the elegant simplicity. There are unambiguously evil vampires that need killin'. There's super special sunlight tai-chi that melts vampires like an ice cream cone in a hot car. Go forth and have fun in 20th century Europe.

Phantom Blood established the rules and lore. The way vampirism looks and feels, the rules and tactics of Hamon, and the lore of the world. Battle Tendency went in and twisted things around. It added new enemies, new factions, and new powers. Then that was it! No more vampires (other than DIO and Vanilla Ice), no more Hamon, And no more historical Europe. And that was just fine. Hamon and vampires had their time and it was well spent. There was no decline in quality or jumping the shark for hamon, because Araki knew when to bow out, and that's admirable.

part 3 > part 2 > part 4 > part 7 > part 6 > the rest

but each part is at least unique, jotaro's bizarre adventure is iconic levels, after all

💪

Vento Aureo and Steel Ball Run are my favorites. I think thematically they're the strongest parts and the ones I've connected to the most.
