favorite music videos?

Technova by Towa Tei. Finding this on MTV Amp at like 1 am one night was great because I liked Deee-Lite and didn't know he was a thing solo. Plus the video is fun with the weird CG dogs

...I don't actually know how I forgot the weird ass Silent Hill music videos for so long. Fukuro is my favorite in both video and music, but they're all good. ::biggrin

Idc what anyone says I fucking love this vid, super relaxing and I think its “awkwardness” is crucial.

Michel Gondry ftw:

I know Tool have become super overrated in recent years but Lateralus was a great album and seeing this video late at night at age 13 felt like the equivalent of watching the Ring video:

Relatively recent favorite but this album is currently getting me through a divorce so shout out to amyl and the sniffers:

This M83 trilogy of clips has lots of X-men, Dune, Princess Mononoke and maybe Final Fantasy VII vibes

I think Seal's Crazy MV is one of the most unique MV created. Music is good too

Also, thanks to Natalie Imbruglia in Torn I fell in love with short haired girls forever

90s and 2000s pop punk is my ultimate musical comfort food and many of the bands had genuinely great songwriting.

Btw it would be neat if everyone put the name of the artist and song in their posts. Many videos on YouTube are geo-locked and that allows us to check them out through other means.

Rayleigh Ritchie (a.k.a Grey Worm from Game of Thrones)
Stuck in the Sound for cool animation
half alive - still feel for the vibes

I can't think of these songs without also remembering their music videos:

Virtual Insanity - Jamiroquai: The goofy but memorable hat and the visual tricks make this music video a fun spectacle to go back to.

Somebody That I Used to Know - Gotye: A more recent song, in the grand scheme of things. Simple, yet very memorable.

Bring Me to Life - Evanescence: Ah, the edge of the early 2000's. It's a very nostalgic music video for me.

Sum 41 - Into Deep
Sum 41 - Fat Lip
Green Day - Basket Case

My top 3 on the charts:

Michael Jackson - Bad
Fleetwood Mac - (Big Love)
Wendy & Lisa - Waterfall

This one made me cry the first time I watched it.
