favorite music videos?

I can't imagine how long that took, really cool stuff
That's what I think makes it amazing, they actually had to buy lego sets for the shooting. I first thought there might be some cgi cheating, but I think it was all stop motion. Unless someone can correct me?

For All Those Sleeping - Mark My Words

Beastie Boys - Make Some Noise

For me, I'm love this Savage Garden - I Want You music video, this clip have some undescrible but awesome vibe if you ask me))))
Y2K is absolutely best time for music imho

Well, judging by the amount of views on this song, this isn't exactly a deep pull, nothing wrong with that though! Just a fun, cute video for a song about getting drunk and cheating! Yay! Love the song as well, Seeed make some good shit.
Did someone say Ding!? My boys Feuerschwanz covered it and had a lot of fun filming the video for it.

OP did mention Gorillaz in their first post and one of my favorite music videos to go back and watch is Tomorrow Comes Today just because they took footage of the British night life on the streets and you can even see DDR Machines in through a store window. So I always feel like I travel back in time watching the video dreaming of better days.

Speaking of better days and since Sum 41 was already thrown out there I have to go with a classic Papa Roach song that really gives me a vibe of that late 90s/early 2000 of having fun in a dystopia world.

I always tended to avoid music videos as a kid (and still do) as I mostly felt they had nothing to do with the actual lyrics but was moreso a softcore p0rn video. Also, I prefered to let my own imagination run wild. That said, there is one fan video that comes to mind.

based take. honestly i hate watching music videos cause it ruins the image of the song that i have in my mind already

One of my favourite videoclips for one of my favourite covers. I love how all the original groove is striped down and everything is so deadpan but somehow it still feels groovy as hell

I liked the song before I saw the video (which I just watched), and the cinematography is so cool and it is pretty fun, like going to a party. And I love how some random dude in the comments was like, "oh damn! I'm the guy in the spacesuit lighting sparklers in the bathroom!" And the pan after the singer crawls in the window after getting water pail rained on with the drummer right when the energy kicks in! ::heart So creative!

@jiyuuboyetsvi and @MegaHiro91 Don't get me started on how things like remakes ruin movies/games for me, but for some reason, with music, that doesn't happen for me; I kind of like to see other visual interpretations. I mean, even really crappy amvs for songs don't bother me :loldog

While you are of course entitled to your opinion, and I will agree that I want movie companies to make more original stuff instead of just rehash. That being said, I am fine with remakes in the sense that they are a new take on an already existing product, giving the producer a chance to add their own spin. Remakes being made long after the original product has the advantage of being able to add stuff that didn't work- or wasn't possible before e.g better camera, better effects, better sound quality etc.

Not a direct example of my point above, but I liked the new Firestarter remake because while it deviates from the book - in contrast to the original 80s film - it added a lot of things I really liked and thought made sense. For example, in the original (and the book), Charlie only has pyrokinesis, but in the remake she learns that in ADDITION to that, she has also inherited both her parents powers; dads mind control and moms telekinesis.

The existence of this remake doesn't erase the existence of the original, so for my money they both have a right to exist, and again, the remake does new stuff that throws old fans for a loop. Plus, nobody ever said a movie HAS to stick to the book as long as the essence of the narrative is still there. Like, in recent times people are starting to hail on the Harry Potter movies for omitting a lot of "essential" stuff and are thus looking forward to the HBO series. And I'm like... you want all the details from the book? ............f***ing read the book!

He filmed this without his father knowing

There's a lot that I love. For now, I'm going to post one that is relevant to my name and avatar.
