This is sorta mirroring the cheat codes thread but it feels better to have a space for people to post strange gaming quirks that don’t quite fit the term “cheat code” (aka an intended implementation).
So this’ll be pretty much all about the unintended instead. Game breaking bugs, crashes, exploits, OoB and anything completely wacky and zany. You’ll get points for creativity.

Time to kick off with a classic.
 
Gotta put you on to this topic. Crash Twinsanity is one of those games that released heavily unfinished. This is just one of many crazy skips and glitches the game has. Basically the levels are split into loading zones called "chunks" and a lot of these areas can be manipulated with physics props or even by using Cortex when you are dragging him. Big ol' rabbit hole here and the speedrun community for the game is awesome. This is one of my all time favorite games so I had to put this here.
 
Final Fantasy VI Sketch Glitch. Results are incredibly unpredictable, to deleting/adding copies of items in your inventory to bricking your save game.

The glitches of Mega Man X6. The game was made like in 8 months and there are a lot of glitches. They're are mostly used to speedrun the game
 

Gen 1 Pokemon games are basically one giant glitch in disguise, and I love them for this.
 
What are some of your favorite, memorable or weird glitches that you've seen in video games? There's some where I've seen objects not placed on the ground, such as these two spots in the Forbidden Forest in Hogwarts Legacy:

Oblivion: climbing in the sky with paintbrushes
Fallout 3/New Vegas: getting outside of the map by jumping onto rooftops or walls
SotN: early double jump with the wolf, and using the wolf to skip Richter

My favorite is probably the Ditman glitch in og Resident Evil 4. I won't go into much detail on how it's done, but makes you about 1.5x faster and takes almost no time to set up, it's like crack for speedrunners and anyone who enjoys frequently replaying RE4. They even referenced it in the remake with the "Striker Charm" which makes Leon run 8% faster.

A number over the years that right now escape me, other than your usual clipping, but a more recent type is from Helldivers 2, when a model of a downed enemy stretches until it's the size of a mountain in the distance.
 
Mega Man X6 was made in 8 months so the game it's very glitchy for example you can destroy the bosses using only Zero saber here's an example.
 
I rented Turok for the N64 when it first came out, turns out beating the final boss with the minigun causes the ending cinematic to glitch slightly.

The camera pans down to reveal a triumphant Dinosaur Hunter...with his left leg bent at a 45 degree angle for the entire escape sequence from the villains exploding lair. He sprints like an action figure your brother busted and you're trying to make him hop along at full speed.
 
The ships in Black Flag. There'd be a vertical drop in the water and either the ship rises from it or drops into it from above before everyone resumes business as usual.
 
I gonna make a thread dedicated to showcase the glitches that I found in this game. Pay attention that this is the ps2 version, so I dont know if you can replicated this glitches in the other console versions.

Anyway, I will start with this glitch that happens in the second stage (Raid on St.Nazaire

I will try to explain how to recreate this glitch, In the second stage, you need to set up a bomb in a fuel thank, but before that one of the soldier calls you waving his hand. If you approach him, you will trigger his script where he talks with you about what you have to do and then he leaves, but if instead of approach him, you backtrack where he is, he will stay in this amination like he wants to high five you

This glitch tends to happens on "Operation: V2 Silence".
Maybe it could happens in other stages, but I not sure

The npc clip on the train and then he got inside the floor. Glitches where the npcs clip to wall are pretty common, like on the "Operation: V2 Silence", since there are a lot of narrow corridors. A lot of times when you kill a enemy and the body hit on a wall, his body enter in the wall and keep bounced there until it despawn.

Here is a small glitch. In the "Climbing Mamayev Hill", the stage started by this guy giving you a speech before the War. When he finnish you are supposed to follow your allies, but if you decided to stay still. You will see that the guy that gave the speech dont go to War. Instead the little pussy keep walk around the place until he decided to vanish

This one is not really a glitch, but in the end of the "Mission to Rocherath", you can see that the developers got a bit lazy

This is a glitch that appear on "farmhouse libration" stage. When the final objective, "Defend farm and destroy approaching tanks" started, I decided to had back to the start area. After the bridge, I noticed that what appeared to be an enemy NPC was standing still and not reacting when I shoot him. When I approach it, I noticed that it was a picture of a enemy that spawned.

I think game glitches in general are an interesting topic that deserves its own megathread. You know, a place to share and discuss weird bugs, regardless of whether people found them online or on their own.

And as for you OP, those are some curious glitches. I remember playing MoH a ton as a kid but never really paid attention to this kind of stuff.

Agreed. If I may be so bold, it would probably be a good topic for the suggestions thread. I'm sure it would be voted in quickly.
 
Another glitch that I found was on "Operation: V2 Silence", I was in the V-2 facility killing all the enemies, when I clean the area I get out of the facility, to backtrack to see if I could find a new glitch.
Well, in this stage there is a npc of your army, that stay leaning on a wall next to boxes in pain.

Turn out by backtracking before you start the "destroy the v-2 rocket" mission, one of your team squad will become this npc.

He will stay stuck in this place doing the animations of that npc, but he will remain as your team squad, but he will not move from that place.
