There's just something about the pre-Dualshock PS1 controller that I always enjoyed. I don't know how to explain it, but everything just fits so well. Could be nostalgia, too. I bought two of them for my slim PS1 last week. Pretty cheap, and they worked great, too.

My dream controller doesn't exist... I really want 8bitdo to make a version of their 6-button Saturn controller that has joysticks and triggers, like they did for their SNES controller. There's so few 6-button controllers in the world...

My personal dream controller would be an authentic-looking Wavebird controller with all the bells and whistles of a modern controller. Even better if it's got gyro support and back paddle buttons...

I've always liked the PS1 controller and I'm very happy that every Playstation console has retained the same shape and layout.

Which is an evolution of the SNES controller (which can be understood because of the history of the console). Yet I feel like they could've had improved the D-pad and L2/R2.

I mean the joystick overtook the d-pad so I'm surprised they haven't put it on the top part instead for the PS3 onwards.

The only gripe is that the touch pad is a bit gimmicky and replacing Start and Select by other names didn't really make sense imo.

Oooh, looks really nice!

I wish Nintendo could've made a "version 2" of their controller back in '98 - '99 (especially after Sony making the Dual Analog and the Dual Shock).

The color scheme on the NES controller just can't be beat, imo.

This silver PS4 controller is my "daily driver" and I think it looks pretty great.

This silver PS5 Killscreen controller also looks great! (I like silver & black)

I love how they color the PS logo. That looked killer on the modern DualSense release too.

I guess I’m just a sicko for accents of bright color next to basic colors and shapes. I like a balance.

I made a whole thread on this at the start of the year. I like this thing. It’s the thing that made me realize how big my hands have become, because it’s sized almost perfectly for me.

Also, the directional pad looks like a crime against humanity, but I swear it’s more functional for me than the GameCube’s.

My favorite thing about this controller is that the unusual shape spawned a trend where folks try to complete difficult games using only these drums. It's possible and I've seen DS2 and Sekiro completed so far.

Y’all are talking about ergonomics, and how hefty the duke controller is.
Meanwhile, ever since I saw this image from a hoax video when I was 10, it to this day appears in my head like an eldritch horror that has the form of a non-euclidian shape I can not fathom.

Like someone made this image and wanted it to look real enough to fool people, but like… How could this work?
This is a piece of technology that was not designed to interface with humans, but for the hands of something else.

Unfortunately after years of playing GC Games It started drifting!

Very curious about the future Switch 2 GC controller too!

I have been using for 5 years a Logitech G F310 Gamepad (needs to be replaced)

God, I remember buying that Logitech controller out of my saved up pocket money, specifically to play Hollow Knight and since that was the time when I was getting into emulators.
I have been using it for almost 7 years now and aside from the left stick and the triggers feeling a bit loose, it still works fine.
