Favorite Condiments and Toppings

I'm a hot sauce freak, too, but I also really like BBQ sauce, especially on sandwiches and triple especially on burgers. Oh, and chicken wings and pizza, too! And it's even great as a dip with chips and french fries... ?

Conversely, I don't like ketchup on anything except fries. If the option is available, I'll always go for a "Cowboy" or "BBQ" burger over a regular one.

Have to echo this. BBQ is great. Now I’m kind of a condiment nutjob so I don’t mind going bazingaz and straight up say: ketchup, mayo, mustard, honey mustard, ranch, garlic sauce, garlic mayo, garlic ketchup, mayochup (mostly a thing in Kuwait, Heinz’s only produces it for us, how sweet), Caesar and mabooj (a native Kuwaiti product, it’s like a chili paste but ultra tasty)
Just to name a few ?

@Yousef 's post also reminded me that, along with hot sauce, I'm also crazy about buffalo and sriricha sauce (is this still trendy?). Buffalo sauce is just one of the best things any human has ever invented, ever.

I’m actually glad you mentioned siracha, my torontonian buddy once asked me about a sauce we have here. It’s not native to us but it’s pretty tasty.

What's some of your favorite condiments that you like to add to food that you eat?

I do usually use ketchup, honey mustard, relish or some hot sauce.
Ketchup, mustard, the usual. But Taco Bell diablo sauce and Frank's red hot are really good. I do like valentina too, it's a childhood classic for me. Salsa verde and salsa roja too!!! Damn my mouth is watering.

Mustard is ok, but I'm more of a ketchup guy. Not big on mayo, but it's alright. Frank's Red Hot Buffalo and their Nashville hot was super tasty, though I wonder if it's discontinued? Sriracha and the P.F Chang's Gochujang or "red chili hot sauce" as their calling it now, is also really good. I haven't tried Valentina or the other two you mentioned, but I do like Pace salsa with regular tortilla chips.

Oh man, idk if you're a fan of Mexican food but tacos de birria with some salva verde and roja is mind blowing. I ate it last month next to a campfire and dear god... I've never talked about a food item like this before so believe me when I say you have to try it before you die. I'd love to describe it in detail but I won't do it justice.

This can be toppings or condiments for whatever you interpret it as, be it for pizza, sandwiches, food, pastries, cakes, whatever!

I get that this is wildly different depending on where you live in the world, which can also be a fun way to learn about different ways of eating.

Where I am from, we eat a lot of "open faced sandwiches", and lately I've been totally addicted to peanut butter. I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I do since it's been ages since I had it, but I went through an entire jar in two days which is rare for me since I don't really eat very much, it's so filling and gives me a ton of energy ?
I've also learnt that I prefer smooth peanut butter over chunky.
