Favorite Castlevania Song

Oh sick, a thread for peak

Why it never got remixed?
It did, actually. A few times. X68000/Chronicles turned it into a new jack swing (or experimental acid for Arrange Mode) type of song and Smash has a version of Wicked Child

Super Castlevania 4 - Drawbridge - Simon's Theme (Theme of Simon? I see so many names for this one)
I can listen to that one all the time and it gets me so hype.

But if I'm being honest? The NESkimo's version of it is the one I reach for every single time

the best bloodlines song for the best bloodlines stage ::cool

Some of my favourites have already been posted, although I haven't checked the whole thread so I hope not to repeat myself too much.

This one doesn't hit quite the same without the rain and thunder effects, but it's an amazing version

This one has some amazing tunes that often fly under the radar

I'm currently playing Lament of Innocence for the first time and this track is fantastic, never really played any of the 3D games despite always being a huge Castlevania fan lmao.

And bonus:

I'm one of those freaks who prefers the SNES Dracula X OST over the PC-Engine version lol.

As for remixes, Shimoine has done so many insanely good renditions of not just Castlevania games, but lots of other Konami games too. Yasui Yosuke's Divine Bloodlines and Dracula Battle 1&2 are amazing as well.

Anything gametal makes a cover of

Entire SC4 ost. Love that game to bits.

Only one man ever trapped Dracula inside a Solar Eclipse, and this is his theme.

Definitely this one:

and for something more unusual:
my favorite password menu theme in videogame history

From the games, it's this:

From all Castlevania media, this track wins. It never was officially released, so this is actually a cover version

While I tend to view Symphony of the Night as my favorite of the Castlevania games I've played, I think Super Castlevania IV has the best soundtrack. It just does a phenomenal job of setting a proper mood for every stage.

That's heavy praise, because SOTN's soundtrack certainly kicks ass as well.

Rondo of Blood - Den (Stage 7)
There is just no better feeling than making it this far in the game, and this song starts playing. It makes you feel like a Super Shredder.

I can't decide...too many songs I really liked.

So I'll just post the ones with the biggest percentage of songs I liked: Castlevania 3 Japanese version (Akumajo Densetsu) and Super Castlevania 4. Almost all the songs that played in those games, I personally found delightful and memorable.
