I gave up on the fate series it became to damn conveluted to watch I saw the first anime when it came out then several had came out which I did not even knew and now you even got series that you need to watch before the orginal and it´s just I DON`T care anymore >.<

Or are we just saying fate for some reason ??

In the case of the visual novel, I ended up hating the main character especially his self-righteous attitude.
In the case of the "Nasuverse", i much prefer the Garden of sinners movies and Tsukihime.
But enjoyed the Fate/extra spin-offs

Fate/Stay Night is incredible, I really don't understand how people can say it's convoluted when all you have to do is read the visual novel.
Anyhow, something I really like is how Shirou is written with his survivors guilt manifesting into his hero complex and all that, but it's not like Nasu is saying you shouldn't want to help people or that feelings like that are stupid, what he's saying is that you mustn't desire to sacrifice yourself.
Fate/Zero is garbage though, Gen Urobochi is one of the biggest hack frauds to exist in this industry and any other.
