"Some games break because of complex bugs… but others? They’re destroyed by mistakes so simple you’ll struggle to believe they made it into a final release. From single-letter typos to impossible jumps, broken menus, corrupted save systems, and flat-out missing code, these hilariously basic errors turned entire games into unplayable disasters. In this video we’re looking at the funniest, stupidest, and most unbelievable “how did this ship?!” mistakes in gaming history."

NBA Jam on The PS1 had it's difficulty the wrong way round!
Outrun on the ZX Spectrum has the had written in reverse!
Kang Fu on the Amiga CD32 wouldn't boot because the BIOS took up too much RAM
Shadow of the Beast on the Genesis wasn't adjusted properly from it's PAL release and ran too fast
The Death and Return of Superman on Mega Drive crashed on the 2nd level!

I should also say that I did have a hand in the production of this video for Larry so if you enjoy it, let me know!

i just watched this the other day. that was truly mystifying, seeing those game breaking mistakes that could have been fixed or corrected with about 15 minutes of effort. but the devs said fuck it and couldn't be bothered.

For me, the Kang-Fu game on the CD32 was the worst offender on the list.

The game took up about 95% of the RAM, but because of the way the console boots up, the BIOS files are in the RAM for the first 15-20 seconds of it being powered on.

All they had to do is instead of trying to fill the RAM straight away, just load a title/splash screen and then flush the RAM in the back ground and then run the game.

What is really stupid is that the game DOES have a title screen which it loads before the game! So it would have taken about 10 lines of code to just fix the issue, and it's not as if the game was on a deadline; it was released years AFTER the console had already been discontinued!

It's utter madness!

3rd level of Jackie Chan stunt master not loading.... I remember it happening multiple times until I returned the game to learn from the store owner that there's a bug with the game!!

Larry Bundy JR. is awesome !
Especially Fact hunt is his best series .
He's very active in the Youtube comment section and a chill dude .
He was even in Synthetic-mans controversial Chud-cast once as a guest . What a mad and cool lad !
