Weird, obscure, but so so good

you play as a misquito and your goal is to stock up on blood for the winter by taking it from a japanese family. i distinctly remember one level where the daughter was taking a bath and mister mosquito here had hearts in his eyes during the whole level. i should get a copy and play it again.

Mad Panic Coaster! Go fast, shoot shoot shoot and pray that you don't fall off the coaster.
I see lots of game play of it and I don't think I'll ever be able to manage playing a single level of it because it goes so fast.

Tomato adventure!
GBA rpg where people that hate tomato's are separated from the people that like them in society. You start out in the elementary schoolers version of a tomato hating slum that you eventually work your way out of when your girlfriend gets stolen by a baby.

Well... most of Illusion games like HoneyCome. At least that's what a friend told me ::goblingrin

Pangya: an MMORPG focused on playing Golf. I found it boring personally but it looks interesting. Although servers are down there are still some private ones

The PSP Version is also a weird little golf game. I picked it up at a retro game store for cheap because of how strange the title was. Sunk about 20 hours into it to beat the story mode and unlock some of the extras.

Crunk Games reminds you there were three untranslated vacation themed games, all on the PS2. The first was Toro no Kyujitsu, which I haven't seen referenced elsewhere. The second was Boku no Natsuyasumi, which got a fan translation a couple years ago. The third was Inaka Kurashi, a girl-in-Okinawa game I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere.

The article was written in 2003. There were already some relaxing games on consoles in English. However, it took until maybe 2018 before more than a handful were available.

Toribash isn't really cryptic but was my absolute Jam for a long ass time, and i don't see anyone remembering it(outside of an user here on RGT), or at least playing for more than a few minutes, maybe because the skill ceiling was too absurd. Matches would take a long time so in order to grind and improve i would spend all day long playing in servers. One of the contributors to me learning english too.

Saw many people talking about this in the past along with many other Ray K games, but only because of the initial shock value of looking at the themes and the characters, but in the reality no one really plays it or talk about it online(and barely even know what the game is about really). I wasn't able to find any real guides for any stuff in the game and that kinda added to my experience because i was learning new things through experimentation, but i still wish there would be more actual discussion about the game and not just "look at how messed up this game looks lol" in a post and that's it. I was stuck many times because of simple stuff, but i enjoyed it.
I played thousands of hours of Toribash in my teens. ::nervous-prinny
