I remember having a ton of fun while messing about with game-making tools such as Adventure Game Studio and, uh, GameMaker just to post glorified demos and downright trollish one-screen wonders for contests and fun.

Most of mine have been lost to time due to hard drive crashes and believing a little too strongly on the longevity of file-sharing services such as FreakShare and RapidShare, but I did have a rather grand time either solo-ing the whole thing or joining impromptu teams that happened to be recruiting (we only made it as far as to releasing a demo of an extremely crappy take on Monkey Island).

What about you?

I used to make a ton of such things...
I had a lot of fun with PowerPoint 97's buttons and action system...
Made many little animations and interactive little games with it...
I too lost a lot of them due to hard drive crash...

Later, discovered Multimedia Builder... it had a stronger action system, plus a scripting language too!
That was my first introduction to programming world!
Made a lot of little demos, games, etc... with it!

And later, i discovered GameMaker... i made a few games with it too... most of them were based on its own examples.
The most complete one is a space-shooter game filled with asteroids, enemy ships, and cool power ups!

Later, i got into programming staff... there's not much colorful demos from that era... but there's a ton of cool classes and functions which has meaning only for programmers...

Yes.

I know RPG Maker, WolfRPG, and Tweego, like the back of my hand from the many games I made with them, I am also well versed with Unity.

When I am learning a new programming language, I often make either a text adventure or a roguelike (shitty nethack clones) with it to quickly learn the syntax.

I once won the award for best music on a competition as well, and published a game (tied to real name, don't ask I won't give links) just to say I did.

And, code games when I am bored and feel like it.

I have tried to make games with my friends, but my entirely chaotic way of doing things doesn't mesh well with teamwork.

Nope. I think the last thing I would've done in this vein was something involving LOGO on Apple II, heh
