Ever bought a game that just didn't work?

I had Enter the Matrix for PC back in the day. Got it on sale for $10 but didn't have the specs to run it. Ended up just renting the Gamecube version at Blockbuster
 
Thankfully I can only remember that happening to me a couple of times. The only things that come to mind would be a copy of Evil Zone on PS1 and a copy of Sega GT on Dreamcast I bought
