Enjoyable games after a long day of work?

What are some games that you consider enjoyable after the usual 9-5 (or your part-time/freelance job, in case you don't work office hours)?

I know many office workers who don't want to see a computer again until the next day, so gaming can turn a bit overwhelming. Same goes for people who, even though they don't work with screens, are exhausted from their daily work. What are your suggestions for someone who gets home without a lot of energy but still wants to play something fun?

I found that roaming around the world in GTA: Vice City Stories or Red Dead Redemption helps me out immensely when I'm burnt out from work but still want to get some gaming in.

Sometimes just driving around Vice City is all I need to relax. I have been exploring that location since my internet cafe days, so it's both familiar and nostalgic.

If you are looking for a game thats not intense but fun and good for winding down with, especially after a stressful day, I recommend Sunshine Heavy Industries.

Its a puzzle game where you are given a budget and build spaceships. The gameplay is simpleband there are no stressful mechanics like time limits or gameover scenarios.

All you do is listen to some really good chill music and build spaceships from request orders for quirky space customers. I think its great and will build a ship or two before ending my evening.

It totally is, particularly when the entire thing is finished and you really get to roam around the map.

Lately, I have been combining it with audiobooks to get a complete package of visual and auditory unwinding.

I also recommend Baseball 9 on Android. It's as easy as tapping the buttons for pitching and swinging the bat (fielding is automatic), but by no means boring or uninvolved.

It's the first time I hear of it. Looks really nice and sounds perfect for a relaxing evening. The whole thing reminded me of Cloudpunk, another game which I think also applies to this case, though a little more complex due to the storyline and slightly more energy consuming. If you like this kind of atmosphere I think you'll enjoy it.

I usually go for dead simple things to play whenever I'm tired after work or classes but somehow still in the mood to play, in my case I just play a bit of Baroque: Become a meta-being, its mere existence amuses me since it's a baroque-themed frogger game, a really unexpected combination.
Another option would be deathroad to canada, I played it for a brief time since I was able mindlessly play and laugh at the dialogues between stages
also gachagames just become another daily chore if you get hooked up on one so that's NOT recommended

A short, simple and straightforward is my kind of game if I was in that situation
Whenever I was going out and chilling, the only thing I had was my phone. And even though great emulators can be played like PlayStation, Nintendo systems or anything really (if my phone can support it). But that would take a time just to enjoy a game (especially if it was a big title), but I'm so glad I found some hidden gem in the Google Play Store, so here's the list

Chicken Sawblades, Jump Jerboa and Serious Scrambles

No loading screens, no long unskippable ads, just tap and play...that's it!

I'm so glad I found a creator (Chinykian) with this kind of vision because it's just so sad seeing this kind of games getting overlooked by clones and clones of other games (even Capcom now makes a clone of Candy Crush...with Monster Hunter (or palicoes), that's just crazy!)

So if you like arcade games then try it, like I said it's simple but also easy (except some of the levels in the end)

i have 3 games in mind
Monster hunter(any MonHun), Dragon's Dogma, and Fallout New Vegas.

When I'm super tired and just wanted to do something to distract myself from anything around me, I would play MonHun and probably do a mission or two.
But if its a day where I have no commitments tomorrow and can stay up late, I'd play either FNV or DDDA and just explore stuff and and do quests till I pass out.
sometimes i'd just speedrun the Bitterblack isle from lvl 1 and see where i get

My go to choice previously was Dragon Quest Builders 2. Now, someone might say: "Why not Minecraft?"

While Minecraft is a solid choice as well, I find that Builders 2 is just as excellent, on virtue of having actual furniture you can craft without leaving it to imagination. There's tons of furniture and blocks, and the tools you get allow you create some things that Minecraft doesn't allow you. Plus, you also get blocks that aren't block shaped.

Also, as kokonatsu mentioned, any Monster Hunter (which is my current choice, btw) works as well, especially World or Rise

Fighting games are my go-to for this case as well. I never played Monster Hunter but I will give it a try, as well as everything else you guys mentioned! Thanks

Unpacking is a nice relaxing game, Driving in forza h5 without doing any races is also quite relaxing, running around in any gta from the 3d era onwards is also good for killing time

I usually work until 8pm, any game does the trick, but beat'em up are a pretty good option for me. Same for musou games.

For Monster Hunter, World and Rise are the better ones for someone who want to try out the series.

As for Monster Hunter clones, God Eater and Toukiden are a good pick imo.
