Said it elsewhere, but if I work at EA, I'm immediately trying to find another gig elsewhere. Taking on $20B of debt and being tied to Kushner? Adios

Does this mean they will start doing crappy mobages? everytime I see a news like this one I feel it.

55 Billion, for EA?
That's about... fifty-four billion nine hundred ninety-nine million nine hundred ninety-nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine dollars to much IMO

The Sims is already kinda set up for a mobile free-to-play game. Kinda surprised they haven't done that already ::cirnoshrug

Saudis bought it, and it went private. What does that mean? No more woke garbage for the sake of being woke. So, EA pre 2010's.

That's the same guys trying to buy Nintendo a few years ago?

Didnt they also help fund SNK's new Fatal Fury game?
I'd heard the same. It was pretty odd to see that game get top billing at Wrestlemania this year, and I guess that would be where some of that funding went.

It kind of makes me wish Trip Hawkins would have just bought out the company wholesale and tried to salvage EA's rep like back when he ran it in the 80's/early 90s

Other than that, good fucking riddance. Hopefully the same will happen to Ubisoft

Do you think that gaming will all be about Middle East and China in the future?
I don't think so. However the LGBT, and pronouns stuff is more than likely dead from here on out considering how they're treated in the Middle East.

I remember when Fatal Fury was at wrestlemania that was a surprise. But Im not too excited about WWE going there more often.
