Well, corp-oration already means dead-speak, so you're not wrong. From what I remember, in the legal sense, corporations are explicitly not quote unquote living entities.Ding-dong, the corpos are dead. Well, sort of.
Yep . That was a dumpster-fire. They put two real-life soccer-players for an IP that wasnt as huge but still beloved in the SNK-fandom and made it very mediocre in the sequel .Didnt they also help fund SNK's new Fatal Fury game?
Real life people shouldn't be in a game imo.Yep . That was a dumpster-fire. They put two real-life soccer-players for an IP that wasnt as huge but still beloved in the SNK-fandom and made it very mediocre in the sequel .
Back then i wished for a Sequel to Garou: mark of the wolves but i expected great pixel-art again and more arcadey goodness .
Yeah it starts getting stupid and feels like a cheap advertisement and the publisher sold out to make extra $.Real life people shouldn't be in a game imo.
Even that one Walking Dead character cameo in Tekken already felt weird and out of place.
Pixel art is too expensive but I agree, they could've done something akin to Guilty Gear Xrd or adding a great shading for that.
How the hell are they in debt? They print money with madden every year
Restructuring the new aquisition to inherit the debt of the purchasing company probably. That happened with embracer group recently if i remember rightly? How the hell are they in debt? They print money with madden every year

Games that change management during development circle yield even worse results than expectedOfc this can backfire but I think this has the potential to be a great thing. Specially the fact that it will turn private.
Gaming has become a greedy corpo wasteland because companies are always trying to get more and more profit, always trying to reach a broader audience even if it doesnt fit the IP or game identity and/or put an aggressive ingame shop to satisfy the "Did we get more than last year?" question of the investors.
It might be in time to save BF6, a game that looks amazing, but according to rumors the investors wants SO much from it that it probably force the devs to eat their words and put silly stuff like CoD so they can get close to what they are expecting to earn.
