This episode was done on a tv budget with handmade everything, holy fuck

They had to physically move the backrounds and cels so it looks like its shot from a camera

I've always loved how the characters outlines are wobbly and shaking. Made the show really unique. And I've always loved the slapstick humor in the show.

Growing up watching the show in Spanish, the translators got just as unhinged with some of what they'd come up with.

"Mi carne me pide sol y sexo" means "My flesh begs for sun and sex". No, it's not a weird idiom nor some cultural context thing, Rolf just straight up says he wants sex. Somehow, it didn't feel out of place.

Also, this show awakened me... in the wrong way...

I always really liked it, but I haven't seen quite as much of it as I'd have liked to. I do love when cartoons are unhinged, though.

I also love that it references the Violator from Spawn of all things.

I don't remember the last time I saw this show but I always really enjoyed it. I remember relating to Rolph a lot because I was the 'foreigner' and people sometimes treated me strangely, even though I have like no memory of living outside of the United States. lol
