...EA announces that they will come back with a vengeance in EA Sports College Football 28 and beyond as they attempt to make them into live services.

EA isn't quitting on this. Instead will be bringing something akin to eFootball to college football in the future.

There's something remarkably scummy about doing this to a college title, too.

That's supposed to be the least commercial level of the game (at least among the ones they make).
