No, I'm afraid this is NOT the upcoming special in which I get drunk and finally tell you all exactly what I think of you.

I know, I know...

Anyway! xD

Have you ever played a game over the course of which you ran into a character so hateable, so irredeemably boring, who's such an embodiment of everything negative that you immediately hate them and wish to never interact with them again? If so, how did it go? Did you get over it or did they do everything in their NPC power to cement your opinion of them?

I know that sounds like an overreaction (that person doesn't actually exist, after all) but man did I hate Brooke from Life Is Strange with a passion.

Talking to her for five seconds was enough to make me side with the tornado xD

You?

Rafe in Uncharted 4. He's in the beginning of the game and he's an annoying, richy rich, selfish, asshole, whiny bastard, and I instantly went "please kill him off, please kill him off..."
I can't remember the last time I was so angry with an antagonist, lol. The animators and artists did a phenomenal job at creating the most punchable face possible for a character, too. You can argue that "He was interested in finding the treasure!" and that he didn't deserve all that ends up happening to him, but Christ I hate him so much.

I think he's the best antagonist of all of the Uncharted games for sure. He's well written and his flaws are on display. Doesn't make me hate him any less, though.

When he got crushed and was killed, right at the finish line, after getting betrayed by everyone at the end? I audibly went "YES!" Deranged piece of shit. I don't care he's a fictional character, fuck him. And for what it's worth, he goes totally deranged in that final fight.

I also just remembered, not from a game, but Ted Beneke from Breaking Bad? Yeah I hate him. He doesn't even do anything wrong, I just don't like him and never did. I don't have an issue with Skylar like so many do though.

Paradoxically Luke from Tales of the Abyss, he's a spoiled whiny brat for a good portion of the game but that's what actually makes him stand out from so many other JRPG protagonists, I'd even argue that he becomes a bit less interesting after his character development tbh

Chadley from the new FF7 Remake games. I want to do the vr challenges and unlock stuff especially in rebirth but I cannot stand interacting with Chadley at all.

Remakes..oh wait it has to be a person right ?
Aaah okay.
People who make Remakes.

The cast of Mixtape the chick that beat up nate in Uncharted 4

I guess but I would rather say strong dislike Hate is such a strong word.

Not people, game characters.

I only play 2 gachas when i tried honkai star rail i hated everyone already the characters were too painfully ''perfect'' for me and flat in personality ''but you need to play the game to see it's character development bro'' nah fuck off i'm not playing that game again

Too bad. I hate Chloe so much that I
euthanized
her with pleasure (I still resisted the temptation to turn off TV and consider this my headcanon ending).
Chloe was everything that was wrong with the whole game.

She didn't even have bad luck, just made an endless string of awful decisions that put her in harm's way over and over again.

It was like babysitting a suicidal hamster xD

Ava from Borderlands 3. So glad that little shit isnt in 4.
also the kalypso twins from BL3. i hated them so much and not even in a "love to hate" way. i just wanted them dead and i was dissapointed the game couldnt let me kill them brutally enough

Pretty much the entire cast of The Outer Worlds. I only kept the robot and Vicar Max around, but even the vicar annoyed me after his companion quest.
One of those games where destroying the universe should be considered karmically good.

Hasta Ekstermi from Tales of Innocence (NDS)

Tales of Innocence has its own flaws... but honestly! The amount of annoyance and boringness of this character is off the charts...

He's more of a villain toward the player than toward the in-game characters! 😂
