LucasArts died because Disney bought Lucasfilm and made EA make Star Wars games for the rest of time. That's why they disbanded LucasArts. EA makes movie licensed games and Disney has no idea how to do that themselves anymore. Probably why Square Enix makes Kingdom Hearts. Sometimes we get a new Indiana Jones game but that's it. Back in the day LucasArts made all kinds of games even original ones. Labyrinth had a point n click adventure game in the SCUMM engine. They should bring that back.
