I'll never understand why they made a bunch of mid Need for Speed games when Burnout Paradise was very successful.

What I can't understand is why they stubbornly made NFS series gone shit in each game after Carbon. I don't understand why they didn't release an RPG street racing NFS game that is way better than Racing Lagoon. I don't understand what they were smoking with NFS games since Carbon. Just whyyyyyyy!!! *dramatic scream over 9000* lol

I would say after Carbon the only decent NFS game would be Need for Speed (2016) if it wasn't an online-only BS game. Of course didn't even pay for that garbage game, I stole its cd-key from a store (I'm an old school pirate) lolol.

I'll have to take you word for it, I haven't played Carbon lol. There's so many NFS games I don't think they need to make any more

Well I can say the value Carbon has is because it's like Underground 3 for being like an Underground game but being better at it for having very detailed and significant improvement on car modification which is also why some people like Midnight Club 3. But Carbon is only good for people who prefer Underground games and wanna experience something different.

On the other hand I see other NFS games very unneccessary, and actually unplayable mess. For example on Payback you need to collect card like out of card games to be able to modify your car. What a BS. More like Magic: The Speeding game lolol. For some reason EA wanted to BS in NFS series so hard since Carbon lol. However among post-Carbon NFS games only NFS I liked was Need for Speed (2016) because it has an Underground game taste but having way worse car customization than Underground 1 but the game looks good and I like to look at my cars when they look good + I like the vibe of the night in the game, it reminds me Racing Lagoon so sometimes I would just hop into my AE86 and drift around my favorite space in the game map while some random players would join me and we would form a drift train lol. I also liked the "street racer" vibe in the game similar to Racing Lagoon. Can drive around and enjoy the world that most people sleeping and you drive like the ghost of the city. I also liked the artistic choice of how there is no realistic day and night cycle in the game, you can see early morning state of the world that directly loops to night. It's some majestic shit for the vibe of a street racer dream!! Otherwise game is rubbish.

It also came bumbled with the OG, and it’s still backwards compatible on Xbox (and free on game pass)
