Hello guys!
Question: Has anyone tried to put "crt-gdv-mini-ultra-trinitron" shader from RetroArch into Duckstation emu?
That shader in my opinion is the best CRT out there.
I have downloaded "crt-gdv-mini-ultra-trinitron.slangp" file and put it into "DuckStation\shaders\reshade\Shaders" folder
then tried to find it from "Post-Processing/Add" menu in Duckstation but it isn't there.
Apparently Duckstation doen't recognize ".slangp" files so I found somewhere on Github a "crt-gdv-mini-ultra-trinitron.glsl" file and it does appear in "Post-Processing/Add" list but fails to work.

Maybe there is a proper way to make it work?

If it fails to work, try using different renderers like Direct3D 11/12. I was using CRT-Guest shaders and one day they suddenly stopped working. I forgot that I switched to OpenGL for recording footage because it just works better with my setup and didn't know that shaders can't be used with that renderer.

Thank you for the suggestion, but unfortunately It didn't work neither on Direct3D 11/12 nor OpenGL

p.s. tried it with "crt-gdv-mini-ultra-trinitron.glsl" file in Shaders folder, you see on the right of a screenshot, Duckstation actually reads this shader file but cannot activate it

likely "thanks for nothing" but you could use retroarch and it's emulation cores, either beetle psx hw or swanstation, or whatever was the retroarch fork of duckstation if you are willing to do it for the shader. But, if that was the case you would not be asking likely.

Third screenshot from the first post is exactly from RetroArch swanstation core, I just really don't like RetroArch in general, I find UI/UX extremely tedious and problematic.

Gotta be honest, as much as I do like that Trinitron shader, I actually prefer Duckstation's New Pixie Filter.

It is really good actually, especially how they immitated running scanlines very subtly. It's just that is makes colors a bit "greener", palette loses its warmth
