A classic total conversion style hack by the talented Sliver X, presenting an all new, fresh and gritty take on the classic Dragon Quest 1 experience. Graphics, music, town and dungeon layouts as well as the plot are all new.

Author(s): Sliver X
Type: Gameplay, Graphics, Sound, Script
Version: 2.0f
Date: 20th of January, 2003
Status: Complete
Source: https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/1/

RB's Notes 1: The Amnethen Apocalypse variant smooths out the rough edges of the hack considerably by changing many things related to the game in general, such as the amount of grinding, dungeon layouts and other factors. It is considered an easier experience, but also one that is different enough to be considered an alternative take.

Sooooo this one is about abortion? Neverborn, the spawn looking like a early fetus, am I seeing things?

That's misleading: this not a translation, this is a hack of Dragon Quest 1.
Also: "Dragoon X Omega is a RPG video game published by Square Enix released on 1986 for the NES." ...Like WTF?!
