I came across the older version when I was on YouTube looking for anime and I discovered it in Spanish, and I really liked it, I really liked the character.

I just couldn't stand Nobita's childish tantrums::smash
Along with Doraemon, I used to watch Shin-chan (another childhood favorite).

I also think that if I remember the story correctly, his descendant from the future sent the robot to try and fix his father's or grandfather's life, depending on the version, right?

Just past week i managed to see the Stand by Me ones on TV (for my surprise) and got hit by nostalgia

As a kid i wanted my own Doraemon friend to have crazy adventures like Nobita

Nice profile picture and great name! A story I remember: I discovered the anime while browsing YouTube and found the old Spanish-dubbed version, which I enjoy dubs from other countries.

Did you mean Doraemon?
Yes, he was sent by Sewashi Nobi, Nobita’s great-great-grandson, to improve Nobita's life and future.

Você quis dizer Doraemon?
Sim, ele foi enviado por Sewashi Nobi, tataraneto de Nobita, para melhorar a vida e o futuro de Nobita.
Sorry if I got confused, it's been a while since I watched it.But I really like the story, it's very good, I watched it with various dubbings.

Stand by Me was set as the ending of the Nobita family problems (and the reason Doraemon was sent to the past)

But the end give us an ending that just says "You finally got the ending, but the adventures are far from over"

So yeah, it was the finale that the old timers where waiting for. But not the end

It was on when I was a kid, but I couldn't stand it — way too weird for my liking ::cirnoshrug

im sorry to tell u this but the director for the 70s original anime passed away the 6th of the march of this year ,i grew up with both the 70s and 2000s series and doraemon was one of my ogs ,sorry to tell u the news https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsutomu_Shibayama
I didn't know, I hope his family is doing well after his loss, rest in peace. Thank you for sharing this information, sorry to bother you.

Doraemon never really took off here in the States, unfortunately. With that said, I do remember coming home from school and watching the English dub of the 2005 series.

Você ficaria surpreso com o quanto ele e muitos outros animes como Grandizer, A Ilha do Tesouro, Detetive Conan, Capitão Tsubasa e muitos outros são populares aqui no Oriente Médio desde as décadas de 70 e 80.
Thank you for your patience.I'm a fan of the Portuguese (Portugal) and Spanish dubbing that I found on YouTube when I was a child and was used to it.
